It didn't break, it just never worked really well to begin with. I still have it, box, instructions and all. I may break it out and give it another go. I've had a vap on my list of things i want. I just haven't gotten around to investigating them again. Let me know how you like it when you get to try it.

I see, thats just as bad, lol. I'll let you know how mine works out. Might be worth trying yours again, or just put it on ebay.

Your not kidding your self at all, it could have been better. Damn mold would freak me out too. Guess adding another fan would help that. You may really luck out on the Super Skunk. Here's hoping. Your gonna be busy soon.:cheertwo:

Oughta be mold free from here. I'm adding a new closet with outside air intake and exhaust. If I have to I'll filter it on the way in. Yeah the Super Skunk should be fun.

hi mate...you have the set up to filter your air ?...how if you don t mind me askin ?.......if i cud add anything to my grow it wud be...... a purified co2.system....ive read so much how it improves yeild......hows your DIY lookin ?.....couple of fat thumbs from the hammer ? ha ha....hope its running smooth...and your latest bud ain t slowin you down......least not to much ha ha......incidentally i bought an electric pipe ie weed into the top bowl and a motor pulled the air thru the lit weed and sent it down your throut faster than you cud breath it....gave up on it in the end.....after the first visitor of the day....i cudn t get off the couch.....these vapourizer things.....i wudn t dare try them ha ha....id be there for a week lol.........as always loadsa questions......ha ha...great journal mate............be lucky weedtastic.....+reps too for all info shared..........

HI weedtastic. If necessary I plan to use a filter from a hot air furnace. They are available in grades able to deal with pollen etc. I'll build a box to hold the filter and adapt to my vent tubing. I'm just going to screen the intake for now, just to critter proof it.
I've wondered if there's anything to gain from Co2 if enough fresh air is moving through the grow. Maybe after I get a few successful grows in I'll consider adding Co2.

I'm only marginally embarassed to say I have been slacking, lol. (my new vape arrived yesterday)
Have yet to find a decent fan locally, I might order a ruck online if nothing turns up here. I hope to get things pretty much together this weekend and take some clones for round 3. I'll have to clone the Super Skunk and the Big Bud because I don't know if the Super Skunk will be the best of the bunch until I've smoked it. I may have to do an early clip on a bud from the SS to sample it. I don't really want to have an extra handful of clones sitting around if I'm just going to have to kill half of them in a couple of weeks.

I looked at a couple of pipe type vapes but read so many bad reports about them that I gave up on that idea. This model seems to work great so far. Had some company last night, first vape session for both of us. It was cough free, almost the first ever, lol.

Thanks Bux, I'm hoping for a good result with that girl.

The vape is a smooth smoke. The first hit has you wondering, the second hit makes it clear. Nice clean taste, superior effects to smoking. I've only used the bag so far, but i really like it. I would definitely recommend a vape. Not necessarily this one. I find it a little awkward to use, it's halfway between a handheld and a tabletop model. It doesn't bother me enough to return it. Much easier on the lungs but I haven't done a heavy session yet.

Hi OMM, Ididn't give you time to check all the features out before I bought, lol. I just tried the whip/tube and it's a lot less cumbersome, works great. The bags need a valve. I haven't checked to see if they sell 'em. It's not a major hassle, maybe I just get too buzzed before I can set the thing down. :cool:

I'm trying to resist trying an early Super skunk bud in the vape. It's easier with some in the jar already.
If I could have taste or potency there's no question. There are ways to add flavor when consumed, but you get what ya got, with potency.

What temp works for you? I stay around 308 or 310. I really haven't tried fan speed other than the lowest yet. I don't think I have it set just right yet. I always have unburned weed left in the screen container.
Guess I'll just have to practice and practice .:rofl:

I started low, 280F then went to 325 for the second vape from the same cartridge. Medium fan after startup.
Now that I've used it a bit I start at 300 then 340.
I've gone up to 385 for a third bag but there's a thicker vapor at high temps. It's still not harsh.
With the tube I like the low fan around 325, so far. I guess there's no other choice for either of us but to continue testing at different settings, heheh. The unit isn't at all awkward handheld with the tube.
 
What's good Mmmmick? I am looking for fridge pans to put my pots on, I know you prob. would want something like that on your next scrog too, or maybe you already have a plan for flushing if it ever needed it.

I don't want to have to rip my plants out if some Ph problem starts again, so I am doing some thinking ahead this time around. Just a little pan to catch the run-off in-case I want to check the run-off and to flush if need be.

Wish I could smoke my herb from a vape, I never tried it before but it sound very good.

Take em' easy and I'll be checking in later.:peace:
