Nope that one required the user to grow a callous on the thumb. I have a newer one that has a screw on cap. It also has a flat base so it can stand on it's own.
I tried using the center chamber to store weed and maybe give it a little extra something but it got too sticky to deal with. It did seem
better tho. But that was back when weed was all leaf.
 
That just reminded me of my first dime bag. lol, it was a shoe box filled with leaf my neighbor was selling, I was like 13 and new nothing of weed. I paid him with rolls of pennies. My mom busted me with it as soon as I opened the box, she wanted to see what I had so I said it was a mouse, thinking that would make her turn around she says "let me see it":rofl:

Boy my best friend that was standing next to me just looked at the weed and then me in the eyes and took off and my mom threw my weed away. LMAO!

Your right about the sticky mess on the buds but if you just smoked a dime bag every other week like I used to in those days it wasn't so bad. All those times my supplier was dry I would have a huge ball of resin after taking all the peices apart, OK i'll let you get to growing.:smokin::bitingnails: Sorry just had to share.

I got busted my first time too but only because I smoked a dime of hash in my parents bathroom an hour before they got home from work. DOH!!!!

I got smarter fast, lol.
share away, I don't mind in the least.
If I was stuffing buds in the middle chamber I might have fared better. Must have taken me an hour to try to scrape out all the leafy bits that stuck to the inside.

I was a bit luckier than both of you the first time I got busted. I was getting screamed at before I even knew what I did. When dad mentioned pot I started shitting my pants. I had just bought my first oz the night before. I tried to keep the relief off my face when he pulled out the roach I forgot in the ashtray of the car. Doh! Thank goodness for that secret sunglass holder in the dash that no one knew was there!!!

I have a question about the smell of my plants.

During my first grow I had 2 plants that stunk up the whole house even while vegging. The smell stuck with them through flowering until I repotted them(newb issue) and started using Botanicare nutes and molasses, plus SuperThrive. Prior to the repot they had no nutes.After repotting and starting nutes, there was little or no smell the rest of the grow.
This current set of plants has had little smell all the way through and 3 of the 4 plants are cloned from the original 2.



my fingers smell great when handling the plants for adjustments or whatever but very little smell outside the closet. No filter running. This grow has had Botanicare nutes from the beginning, along with SuperThrive. And molasses on a semi random basis. When I stopped nutes about 10 days ago the smell started to develope again(water only for 2 waterings)

Anybody using Botanicare nutes and/or molasses/SuperThrive experiencing this lack of smell? Or any theories on why the smell seems to disappear?
 
it reappears due to the lack of chemicals. Keep in mind that Plants natrually release a smell as a form of self defense. When your addind nutes. Your supplimenting chemicals that wouldnt be as pronounced in nature. So those chemicals therefore take over that smell will their own, causing a less potent smell. This happen to me when I used a couple different brands full lines. The flushing process allows for the natrual odor to be released, as the other nutes leave the plants system. This is the conclusion that I have drawn. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Thanks Butcher, I've been wondering about this for a while because I see so many people talking about the strong smell they are getting during their grows and they all seem to be pumping the nutes to their plants. Couldn't figure why mine weren't smelling the place up. I suppose some nutes have a greater effect on the smell than others.

here's hopin'. the first round didn't get a decent flush so I was a little dissapointed in the final product. It hinted at the smell they had when vegging but not very strongly.

Yeah they are starting to smell up the basement now, as long as it comes back stronger in the cure I'm fine.

the longer the cure the better. My rainbow kush smells the whole time, but 3 months in a jar. Just one bowl will smell the whole house even if the door is closed. A proper flush and cure is the trick to a good aged herb. Even my sh*t strains, I've grown in the past smelled afeter a good cure. and you got all your ducks i a row so It will come out alot more pronounced I'm sure..

The original grow had a decent smell when smoked, just didn't really develope the early smell during the cure but it was gone before a normal full cure would finish. It had a very short flush due to advice from a misguided friend. This round is getting at least 2 weeks flush and the cure will be lengthy. And my advice is from peeps here that know their chit. I expect a much better result.:rasta:

yeah the Botanicare says 3 days with clearex but I don't want to add anything else but water so I'm going with a natural flush, water only for a couple of weeks. Should be as good or better than a short clearex flush, I think.
