Thanks wct, I should be getting close to a finish. This is the 90w UFO from a week before flower. I've got the 126w over my clones right now. I used Botanicare nutes and SuperThrive mainly, also a little molasses. But don't let the pictures deceive you, they aren't real big. I was looking for numbers not size, seemed best for the led. They're developing fairly well though. Better next time,lol.

You're welcome, I don't know if you really need to wait more than a couple of days if you only do a few leaves now and then.

I went back and reread most of your journal. Once again I was so impressed with what you have done in a closet and a small one at that. Every little tweak has made a difference. Putting up the reflective material was a big step, it really helped the spread, spread! :grinjoint:

We read so many journals, maybe I should say I, sometimes they run together in this old brain. I'm glad I went back and really realized how much you've done. In my mind you have become a man of knowledge and a real grower to be proud of. I get the same feeling about you as I do when talking to Setting Sun. whats up M, im goin to be using a 126w led. the space im using is actually a big Armour like and big cabinet. so it will be smell proof and virtually on detectable. ill let you know more details after work i gotta get my ass moving before im late haha id rather stay here.....

Hi OMM, thanks for such great comments. I can only hope to get near Setting Suns' skills, but it's something to strive for. I hope this journal is at least interesting and at best informative and helpful. I've got lots to learn but every day seems to point out something I could improve on. Patience is the tough one to learn, many of my issues wouldn't be present in this grow if I could master that one.

Hi AG13, is your 126w the 30 degree model or the 60? I have the 60 set up over some clones. If you have the 30 degree model you might want to use less than 24x36 for your screen, as that unit is designed for penetraton rather than wider coverage and the edges of your grow will not get the light they need, imo. That said, I haven't grown with the 126w unit yet so I may be dead wrong.
heheh, smell proof may be tricky to accomplish, but with a carbon filter you'll be fine. Some strains will stink(in a good way) the place up.

lol, I'm planning to do 3 Super Skunks under the 126w and a repeat of this grow under the UFO. A few things that should have been done differently this time, I'll try to correct them for the next round and see how things go. Veg times will be different for the repeat grow so it'll just be for my own enlightenment, not a direct comparison.
 
^ I see, I wanted to grow Skunk but the boss told me that was the one thing she does not want. I may try one outdoors and see how that works out. I can't wait to see that SS and the sequal to the first scrog.

We all think about our mistakes as we make them and improve on them on the next grow. I imagine (because I have only 1 grow under my belt) that it may be like that for the rest of our grows.

I may be wrong but it seems that Botanicare nutes kills the smell. My first two plants smelled all through the house until I transplanted during flower. I started using Botanicare nutes at the same time and the smell died and never really came back.
This grow had some smell but only in the closet and it is starting to come back now that the nutes stopped. The clones don't smell much either and they've been getting Botanicare veg solution. Maybe nothing to that but I'm thinking of trying a different range of nutes for my next grow, just to check it out. I'm kind of dissapointed about the smell, was hoping the SS would stink the place up, lol.
It's a cross though so maybe wouldn't have the usual smell. I would expect to smell some skunk though.
 
HMM, don't tempt me..... OK tempted. It just dosn't take much anymore, I had these two different strains and the Papaya never smelled at all and the JW did a little towards the middle and end of its life. I never needed a carbon scrubber. SS no smell is great in my world!

hi jermz, I'm pretty new to this but I might be able to help with the basic stuff. There are some grow support mods on here that have way more experience and loads of info in the various grow sections.
What sort of help do you need?

Yes it's nasty but its got 46 years in and thumbed across Canada and back, coast to coast, twice by 1966 and it was only 2 at the time. I couldn't count how many pounds have met their fiery death in that little bowl. heheh
This pipe has been present for all but 30 days of my history as a toker.
