your link doesn't go to a test grow.
HID Hut appears to make claims with little supporting data. ie:"The LED UFO is many times over the highest powered LED grow light available", from their 90w adjustable spectrum led page. This is blatantly innaccurate.

This statement is enough to cause me to stop wasting my time on their site, not to mention price is at least double what it should be imo. Perhaps there is more to this light than meets the eye. If so HID Hut isn't doing a great sales pitch.
I currently use a 90w UFO triband RBO, the seller no longer offers this led.

^^^ ongoing comparison beyween HGL's 126w and a 180w UFO. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but these leds (UFO style) change design so often there are too many to keep track of. A quick search for led grow lights in the main forums section will yield a lot of info that you may find useful.
 
Mmmmick have you ever recived burn from the led, if too close. I figured no heat no problem, but closest leaves are a little toasty. Pulled back to a full 12 inches.

I went to about 4" for a few days and noticed what looked like the beginning of burn, if I recall, the top leaves were cupping or canoing. They flattened out after the led was pulled back. The plants were older than yours so you may see more impact. How close was the led?

Some of what looks like growth might be just a little repositioning of tops, I lost the bowl shape I was hoping for (two on the right were reluctant,lol) so I pulled some tops into more exposed positions.

How much are those LED lights? I probaly cant afford them anyway being on my budget...lol

Hi Mi welcome and thank you.

This one was 200 US but I think they're more like 150 ish now with some white leds added on ebay. I haven't checked lately so they may have changed design again.
Are you planning to supplement your 400 or try an extra flower area? A direct swap would dissapoint in yield, bud development and probably other areas as well if compared to almost any 400 watt grow I've seen.
There's better technology available but pricier, like all new tech initially.
 
I was just wondering that's all bro. Maybe something to try in the future when I have extra cash to spend if you know what I'm sayin, plus I'm always looking for new techiques. My current light is a 400 watt MH and I plan to also flower with it b/c it's the only light I got. So what ur saying, led's don't produce big buds or you new more lights to make up for the less watage of led's, I'm just wondering? This is my 1st grow and have only read about led lights on here and seen video's on youtube.

A 400 can put out some big colas. I have no idea what the UFO will do yet, my first grow was not a good test. Somebody kept screwing it up.:grinjoint:

I'm not trying to compare it to anything, just see what it will grow but the 400 is what the manufacturers claim it will match and I doubt that. I'd be more than willing to be proven wrong ,lol.

In a small closet like mine just sitting there and breathing is probably good for them. A little extra Co2,heheh.

hi mate sorry i ain t been round..........wow mate this grow is going great.....when i think of your last grow.....i can t believe the difference...awsome....you certainly used your first grow for experimenting and learnt a hell ova lot........1/2 inch colas are fine mate...you wait till they start fattening im sure you will be pleasently suprized...how are you doing on your nute schedule ?...i don t see anymore signs of burn ? looks like you got it in hand.....and congrats on proving me wrong on the deffenciy....my newbie grower friend is all grown up ha ha......and to be real honest this grow is looking real pro from where im sitting.....+rep if i can ?.....i think you have found your green thumbs.....last time i think you used em to scratch your ass lmao....just kiddin my friend....anyways you did mention one time smaller length buds but more of them produces more yeild....i wasn t really sold on that idea however my champion girl with the 60 bud sites lol is proving you right again....even if i hate to admit it lol...well done mate...great update great grow.............be lucky weedtastic :goodjob::rasta::rasta::rasta:

hey weedtastic good to see you my friend. I must admit I'm terrorizing the plants a lot less this time around. The Afi's though are proving to be more sensitive than the other strains. I'll keep that in mind next time I grow them.
I guess it's the fattening part that I'm curious to see, but they've got lots of time left so they might do allright. I'm back to regular nutes just went to 100%. I'm not so sure you were wrong about the def. After the flush with 10% ferts they got water twice over 4 days then back on the Botanicare solution. They are just now showing some improvement (after full nutes twice)so might have been just getting enough from the 10% flush and now seem happy with full nutes. You were more likely right than wrong from the way the plants reacted.:thankyou:
I don't think anything definitive was proven as far as the problem they had but my fix sort of covered both possibilities, if you catch my drift. They were due for a flush anyway around about that time.
lol yep any green thumbs I had the first time were probably from algae, everything was so wet for so long, lol.

Good to hear about your many topped lady, I hope she just about falls over with buds. I've read that yield increases with smaller tops but never seen it in action.
