@Bode It’s definitely different and odd looking. I’m starting to question if the plant on the left will stretch enough for this style of grow to be effective. Righty is a prime candidate, although I do wish the nodes were closer together.
I haven’t seen too many vertical grows on this site, but honestly I have not looked in awhile. So if this one does not do well, then next time I will make it a winner because I want to inspire people to try this way of growing.
And any style against the norm. Like using Wally World led bulbs and getting great results, like in my other tent. Haha.
(Edit) I would also like to add that I have not ph’d my water not even once since I started my last grow.

It’s alwasy nice to hear from you. Your set up is looking great btw. I can’t wait till those babies fill up your tent.
And I have a question you probably already answered in your thread. Are you keeping the CMH lights all the way thru flower.? I know people get great results flowering with those so I was just curious.

CMH is all I have. They'll have to do since I sent the LED's back. 
My reading is that the CMH lights do very well from seedling to harvest. @Lowrider72 grows with CMH and so do a couple other growers here (brain won't let me remember who just now).

That’s awesome tho... ive seen some grows with super frosty buds because of those lights.
Since I’m pretty set on keeping my 2x2 vertical I thought about getting a 315cmh bulb with the adapter to use with my 250 watt magnetic ballast. I’m not sure if all of those bulbs are compatible with my ballast but I know at least some are. The vertical mounting is a different story tho... I’ll have to look that up.

@Alafornia Thanks for the response now I’ll have to have to check out @Lowrider72 too.
I don't know the answer to that one. I was thinking you need a compatible ballast and you might be able to check the specs on yours to see.
@Lowrider72 has had some beautifully awesome plants - the kind that will make you go "whoooooaaa!!!" He was an influence on me buying them in the first place as I researched different lights.

I’ve seen people do it horizontally with a 250 mag ballast so I know it works. A 250 watt digital ballast will not work, at least from what I have read.
But now that you reminded me I do have to look at my ballast because I remember reading that the ballast needs to be capable of 6kv to start the bulb... or maybe it’s just a safety thing. I do have some more reading to do. Haha.

Hello everybody...
I’ve had a pretty lazy day so far. The kids are about to be picked up by grandma so the wife and I can get some alone time, which we will probably spend cleaning the house. Haha. And the tents are looking good. I’m a happy man. Haha.
The the AK test subjects in the vertical 250 tent are going to take off really soon I think. I’m so happy they finally have good source of light.
The Screw In LED tent is looking good as well. I’m going to have a jungle in there. I can’t wait till defoliation/lollipop day.

Absolutely... it is very relaxing to just sit with a plant and shape her to your will. Also it gives you a better view of the overall health of the the plant. And of course watching the plant and product grow and benefit from the trim make it even more with it.
I miss nap time... but the kids never let me sleep long enough. Haha.... Jk. It is a lot easier to get things done when the kids are away so we usually try to take advantage and get whatever we lagged on recently done.
My kids dont really take naps anymore, and when they do it’s usually a bad thing cuz then they stay up till 1am or later. Haha.

Hahaha... gotta love it. Can’t say that I miss the dirty diapers.
I do miss tossing them, “gently”, at my wife tho after I rolled them up super tight. Poopy diaper or just wee wee. Didn’t matter. Hahaha.
My wife takes it well, I mess with her a lot. She gets me back tho.

That sounds like a game I wouldn’t be able to live to see another day if I played that game

I found another temporary location for my clones and ditched the 4 I had “rooting” in water. They had little root like nubs on the stems that were white and would probably have thrown down actual roots if I left them longer or took better care of them. It’s ok tho. I wasn’t counting on them.
I will buy a cloning tray and humidity dome somewhat soon hopefully. I’ve always had good success cloning with one, heat mat or not.
Well here’s the little ones.
Only one of those bulbs is screwed all the way in. The other 2 are not on. Haha.
