McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

hey Mac, I ended up picking a blue 5 gallon bucket, that's the darkest they had. Do you think that will be dark enough to protect the roots from light?

It should be bro, my cloner is not light protected, the skirt goes over the manifold, but it's obvious to me that light still gets to the roots. I gotta check my calendar and see if my cuts are ready. Now I need 18 solo cups and hopefully I have enough happy frog soil. Once you decide in your mind how you want to do things...do em a few times....it gets way less stressful and complicated.............

I believe it, it might sound terrible, but I did go from shooting targets to people.

Kinda crappy pic, this is my third box of this, it's the only product i've ever bought more than once. We're flippin on the 14th, and I want to introduce this to the soil now. I'll give em a full dose ( once I determine what that's gonna be), it takes a few days for the effects to show, so basically, I'll see the results of the previous application when I'm applying the current one, this is the trickiest part of organics I've encountered......for example; I apply the dose, and the plants start burning from the first dose...if I flush it will just release more nutes.....you gotta be careful!

Better to go lighter and give them more teas. The teas I believe are more bioavailable to the plants and everything happens faster.

Are you feeding ro water or are you using dechlorinated tap? or well ?

Have a good day bro!

Thanks shotta, I'm using well water. The last tea I made I tried to aerate for 48 hours, at 24 hours it had a lovely foam on it, and after that the foam seemed to diminish and it started to smell. Next tea will only get 24 hours aeration, the smell must have been dead bennys. I'm contemplating throwing my afghan kush mother into flower, I want to grow it against the back wall.....I mean secure it to the wall! I can set it up higher in a 2 gallon pot...I just transplanted it a minute ago....then just make some kinda cloth looks and tack em to the wall......like a trellis........if it produces good....oh darn, and if it doesn't I'll let it go to seed. The super skunks smell quite a bit already...I hope it doesn't get too bad, but I can tell it will be strong! It's funny that the skunk smell is so attractive to a lot of weed smokers......If they only knew that some of the subtler varieties display some of the finer attributes of the cannabis! Funny too, people get happy when they have to pick up their coughed up lung from the floor....hehe....we know the truth!
