This is your nail, now find your hammer ? heh heh :laughtwo:;) Good to know as I was curious about this one too. :Namaste:

I'm just trippin on the air pruning, and the way an air pot works it's absolutely unnatural the way it dries out, I would rather be watering around the perimeter in a root bound situation than a bunch of roots with the ends burned off, I am always just hoping water gets to the perimeter simply by osmosis...then I'm just encouraging growth where it's goin to die anyhow!

I haven't tried the air pots yet. However I am using 7 gl fabric bags this run and the last.

I was surprised there weren't that many big roots throughout the bag like in the web site photos. But there were loads of small ones. Not even close to being root bound. The biggest roots were mostly right where the transplanted root ball was. The rest were tiny ones throughout the bag. A few made their way through the bag and died off. There weren't any roots bigger than the ones you see in the photo. I thought it would be root bound since those roots were poking out the bottom like that, but nope.

They haven't completely dried out yet, but they dry out enough for easy lifting. And they are nice having handles on them. I take the plants out of the room once a week to inspect, prune, LST, etc. The handles make the lifting a lot easier than the 5 gl HD buckets.

I'm using the same pots, mine are on stands though, I don't get the large roots I'm seein on the bottom of that one, that may make a difference....that is a considerable portion of healthy root mass.

I don't know if I mentioned it, but the afghan kush had three seeds on it, they grew in those single calyxes that are at the node. IDK how they grew, I saw and see NO hermie action. Only two of the three look good and I'll keep em. The leaves on the rest of the plants are dying, shriveling up and falling off, it's getting closer. The next most mature plant is the purple kush and it's all cloudy, followed by Tahoe og, yeti, mexikush b3, and last b10. The mexikush b10 is a disappointment............poor quality and yield.

Kind Bud EH! I likes the sounds of that and bonus seeds! thats fantastic:cheertwo:

I wish you could share the taste =(
I hope someday we can just walk to the nearest post office and send sample nuggets to eachother :)

I hear ya invi, I get sooo ticked off reading the 420 newsletter.....this whole weed thing and the law are sooooo unfair and biased. The powers that be are just letting shit come out in the open so they can get their hooks in the money. Every time we go along with their bs we push weed back further....I mean the true essence of the whole subject! You know that already we are monitored by the feds, so they can study us like bugs and figure how to suck more money out of us, and people will support the dispensaries knowing that they are givin it to us good....I mean we're getting reamed, I am not against anyone using them in a just system, where we have a CHOiCE. I am not a criminal, yet if I don't follow rules that are so obviously wrong, then I suck! If we would all do the right thing at the same time the transition into a society that accepts the use of a harmless substance would be much easier. It's so interesting, we will lead our soldiers into battle for oil, that we don't even need, but weed is illegal, I cannot participate in these evil schemes. I wish I could drop off the grid, I would rather live like a caveman than be a part of a criminal society. LOL....very soon we will be in a curiously worse predicament.......we keep giving away our freedoms, and once they are gone they will never be given back. I suspect that as soon as the roundup starts I'll see how long I can evade imprisonment and most likely execution...as I refuse to serve the beast nor bow down to him or any man for that matter! I would like to see one bit of proof that I'm wrong!

Yeah really scary. I'm pretty afraid that the lobbyist part of EU are just trying to build up a similar system on this continent (not regarding weed, but regarding control to build their plutocracy, using the allmighty freedom-rascism cards, trying to implement rascist laws, alienating everyone in every possible way like sexual preference, skin color, religion, even way of thinking and whatnot, turning them against eachother). And EU countries budget is nowhere near a better multi's, so chances aren't so good. On worse days i get the feeling that the aim is to train self obsessed egoist individuals, which is the easy way to go so training in that directon is easiest, and also a group of these people will never be able to unite according to their own interests. So they're free to rape as needed.
Man we could cheer eachother up in no time :)
