McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

Good thinking, but a plant is not a garden hose.

A plant is like a really small, slow jet engine.

Suck, burn, spit, suck, burn, spit...etc.

It sucks up water and spits it out at the top, establishing a "PULL" at the roots.

Be gentle and treat her like a lady and you can supercrop at any stage.

Just my 2eurocents

Right on ricorico, everything I do I try to establish the "best possible scenario"..........I can do wheelies and jumps on my road king, but I don't recommend it!:circle-of-love: On my journals...and life in general, I try to illustrate why I do what I do, so hopefully someone gains some fruitful knowledge.............if not by what I do that's correct, then by what I may do that's contrary! Yes, you can supercrop at any time, but under certain conditions the incidence of detrimental effect will increase or decrease.....he who stresses and damages their plants the least...wins!

You've seen it on the charts, here it is on mcloadies weed plant. This is interveinal chlorosis, generally interpreted as a lack of available nitrogen, or the lack of ability of the plant to properly metabolize it. This is the ONLY leaf on the whole plant like this, why?, who knows, it was just a perfect picture of an N deficiency and I thought I'd share it!

i wish all my deficiences were this simple. this is the only def that master kush encountered.

Good weed McLoadie!
Regarding supercropping - I think it might be easier to find the 'sweet spot' when the plant is full of water. When thay are drying out, for me its hard to tell when they snapped or broke.
There is much bigger difference in required foce to snap or to break when it's wet.

Curious what others think..

Otherwise best wishes :)

I wouldn't say that one affected leaf was a deficiency, this plant is four feet tall and that's the only blemish on it, I just wanted to show what interveinal chlorosis looked like in a photo, in my jounals what you see is what you get...lol.....I don't pick leaves off to take pics, this is exactly how my plants are growin and lookin..............I'll post pics of the beauty tomorrow at lights on....:circle-of-love:

im the same way, i prefer to leave it how it is for pics for record keeping's sake it educational and informational for me and may help a fellow grower solve a problem, its a journal after all, if i was keeping a personal account diary i would not edit out the shitty days and feelings so why do it here?

Well said

Tomorrow I lower the hps, it will be at around 18" then, anybody see anything wrong with 18"?

I have some tops less then 18" distance now, temps are between 82 - 93F usually and the girls do not complain.

I'm not sure what fish means with better PAR at longer distances though. I always assumed a constant spectra and that means closer is better as long as heat is manageable.

Care to elaborate on this Sir? Tried google but it didn't help :)

Oh and your horse is awesome o,O praise JC!
girls too..!

Jesus sure does love you, Mc!
