aerobic bacteria is is a living beneficial organism aiding in o2 production
where as anaerobic bacteria is a dead ( not dead) but a killing form of it. it feeds on rotting matter producing methane instead of o2.
have you ever been in stagnant water that has a strong sulfur smell or just happens to send bubbles up for no reason. that is anaerobic bacteria at work eating rotten decaying matter:)that choke o2 out of your brew

Good weed to all, lol fishy, I thought I farted!:thumb:

Maybe that's why I don't like givin my plants stinky stuff!

Very good Fishy! I think maybe you still have OMM's O2 saturated cell floating around in there, somewhere. :)

The only thing I can add is that anaerobic bacteria isn't good for the plants, supposedly. Also, it smells bad. The first batch or two I brewed up without the bubbler smelled like vomit after about 48 hrs. The O2 keeps it smelling just like dirt.

nope it was me!

Maybe that's why I don't like givin my plants stinky stuff!
if it gets stinky i add more mykos (root magic) molasses and run 6liters per min pure o2 for a couple hours till the smell changes a little(i have an oxygen concentrator) then i feed it to the trees and shrubs outdoors, never my ladies, then i clean out the bucket & start a fresh brew, thought i would share my method, if you have oxygen you can get usable tea in 8-12 hours at 65-75f i take an old canula cut off the nose piece and stick an airstone on it:thumb:

Haha, successful methods, I do the same, I mixed a dose of full minimum strength nutes the other day....let it brew....looked at it, smelled it............and I knew it was still too hot for my plants and chunked it ( fed it to flowers). I puss out on the heavy doses...they just aren't required!

even with organics that are hard to burn with, strong doses can cause an abundance of certain elements and cause lockouts, but i feel most ppl myself included over feed habitually, im working on scaling back my strengths till i can tell the are slightly hungry, ive noticed they grow bigger and produce more weight & quality if they are not overeating (kinda like ppl lol)

LOL...that's funny bid....so true! Alot of variables...outdoors you can really put the nutes to em cuz they're metabolizing so much quicker. You should see the yeti that's growing outdoors....2 feet tall....5 feet wide.....it's been dubbed the monster by it's new owner, If I could grow outside...................

Yes love the outdoors as well. Have had some of my best grows in the great wide open. Last year was Black Cherry Soda clones, wish I had recloned to keep her a great yield for a small plant. This year 3 x's Santa Maria x Blueberry, x's MadShack, will clone her, then from BOG Seeds we have Sweet Cindy and Sour Boggle. So we have a mix of Indica and Sativa, Love that. For the wide stuff Gonna put a PVC SCROG screen up and use long tent stakes or rebar and secure it because if not the plant will lift it off the ground, not good.

LOVE THE MONSTER, OG.

Hi Loadster,
Planted my outdoor plants a couple weeks ago. Planted in big mounds of compost. No digging. Thew in about 5 little Jobes 4-4-4 organic Spikes per mound. About 5 inches of snow fell on them with a late snow storm, checked them yesterday and they are fine and dandy. I'm trying Early Misty.
Your grow looks good
later...

I got a quarter mile square and no neighbors and am kinda sketched out about growing this year. Maybe next year then again maybe this year lol. If I was only there 24/7 I would do it but am always worried when I leave until I return.
That yeti sounds bad ass bro

Good bud, you're gonna enjoy the outdoor scene, alot less worries!

good morning and a fine weed to you Mc and young Miss Loadie. and heck to everyone else too:circle-of-love:

Expedient measures go into effect today, plants in veg are in the t5, so, one of them will go under the indagro, one is already under the indagro, the other 4 will go under the t5 in the bathtub...in the flower room. Fak!...I hate to do this but a miscalculation on my part has caused this situation. there's a ledge that goes across the top of the shower/bathtub....you know the one, I'll cut a peice of 1/2" conduit, set it on that ledge, hang the t5 from that and we're gonna start the flowering process under it for 4 plants. I'm a little concerned about runnin another 600 watts from the same outlet....that whole room runs on one 20 amp circuit, I will run an extension cord outta that room to another circuit. So everything's just peachy...........at mcloadieeeeees!:thumb: I don't have room to supercrop fishy, if I did the foliage will just shade the bottom two thirds of the plants!

This is what I came up with, I put one of the plants in with the plants that are finishing, the other 4.....f'n bathtub! Day 1 flower! I'll be startin the flowering with two plants under the induction light, and 4 under the t5 with just std. vegging bulbs, I have no choice.
