McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

Pictures of pots can be boring but I should have taken pictures of my neighbors score, she grows in her greenhouse. Someone gave her 10 black nursery pots that are at least 2' across and about 16" deep. What a score.

WOW! IT MUST BE NICE TO LIVE ON A BLOCK FULL OF GROWERS. I CAN IMAGINE THE CONVERSATIONS AT THE BLOCK WATCH ASSC. MEETINGS.:circle-of-love:

Good morning MC and a Happy Munchday to ya and the family. Been reading about DIY co2. Looks to me that sugar and brewers yeast is the way to good. What formula do you use?

2 litre soda bottle, half full of water a little warmer than lukewarm, two cups sugar and 1tsp baking soda, into the bottle with the water. Shake it up til it's clear. very carefully float 1 tbsp. of regular yeast on top of the solution in the bottle, do not agitate it...the yeast will fall to the bottom momentarily, then rise to the top and start bubbling.....NEVER shake or disturb the concoction, the more gentle you are with it, the longer it will last!

I tried before to get a gram per watt, and I try to get as much as I can every time. The current run won't come very close, but I got pretty close 1 time at .812gm/watt when I ran 16-2 gallons. I thought I would get it that time, but with some space issues I had at the time I had to get the plants out maybe a week before I wanted to. That combined with the strain, I will again attempt to get the most I can, I just need one ounce per plant to make the mark! This light is simply a flouro on steroids, I will start using it like a flouro.....this may be a key factor!
