Yah, I was happy this am. When I germ, I drop a knuckle in the peat pot, and then lay the soaked seed in that bed sideways. I tuck it in a little, but, I can still see it. They are in a 12 unit germ tray, on a heat pad, on my fridge, covered with a dish towel. This morning I saw beans cracked and some evidence of a tap root digging in each. Tonight, I'll sprinkle a little EWC on top of those cracked beans and depending on what's up, maybe add a small light. My new 8 bulb t5 grow light is due tomorrow. Perfect timing....

Ya buddy. I think she's been in that shed since last fall. There is a fairly distinctive mark on her that is either common to them, but I haven't noticed that before,, or, she's been chugging along all winter. I'll get her some friends soon...

Made up a gallon of aloe water, and another of coconut water. I gave the peat pots one eye dropper of each for both. Still no sprout up in the air yet, but, they're alive.
Then I gave my empty smart pots a cup each of both. I have about a half gallon of both left.
ACT is brewing, the pump is much quieter once worn in a bit, that's good. Dark brown brew with a little foam. Been almost,24 hrs, going till tomorrow afternoonish then the smart pots will get two cups each. And the remaining is going on my pumpkin breeding ground. Hope Dutty doesn't see that.
Anyway, I got some work to-do, got a delivery today.
Will be vegging this round under 432watts from eight t5s......

Forgot to add I'm going to grind up some malted barley and add to tea tomorrow. Hear it foams shit up.

Ran across this thread tonite and couldn't stop reading til I got all caught up.
A lot of knowledge floating around in here and I feel the need to soak up as much as possible.
Plus I have never heard of this method and I am very intrigued. I am currently on.my first grow and its organic but it is nothing like the setup you have here. Eager to see what happens next!

Well done MassMedMan. You have raised the bar son. Those lights are going to be sweet! I believe atrain had T5s with the CFLs. You are in for such an exciting ride. I'm so glad we get to tag along.
