Day 14 Flip

She filled out the screen nicely. I really don't want to train her anymore. I'm thinking I'll let her finish stretching vertical from here on out. There are so many bud sites that cannot be seen in the picture. I'm so happy with how it turned out. Thank you everyone for the support...

Clone Transplant

Finally got everything setup and ready to receive the clones. I decided to keep 2. I'll keep the best and cull the other. Or keep which ever lives... lol

1/4 strength Transplant water (.7ML) and a dash of Tea (maybe .1ML) down the top with a turkey baster very slowly. About 3 cups the saturate the pot.

I don't have a veg light yet. Still need to order a Reflector 43X3. Until then I'm gonna use a 14 watt 5000K bulb. It's all I have for now. I'll add a CFL or 2 if I need to. Shouldn't take more than a week or 2 to get the light.

Thank you Budley... Was a lot of work and money, but I'll be able to will it to my grandchildren.. If I ever has children lol!!!

Thank you for the reps Shiggity. I don't understand though. What do reps do? I don't see anywhere that I can see what I received or anyone else for that matter. I tend to forget I can give them because of that. I still cannot find the area in notifications where it alerts me to a new PM either.

P.S. I got tracking by telephone. My new light will be here 5-24. Just in time for Cat Drench. I'm so excited. Thank you for the help hooking me up.

When you press on the User CP button up top it will display the number of people that have given you likes. It will also show you if you got a message or if someone has given you reps.

Reputation is like "likes" but the more reputation you have received makes you give more reputation to the people you give it to. Just another fun forum thing. I deserve it for nice harvests, great ideas, DIY, or posts that make me go hmmmmm lol.

Awesome that the light is coming so fast! You will love it! For me at 18-20 inches it is good for about 1.75 X 2.25 core coverage.more if higher.

Nice looking clones Masonman!

Great looking clone.

That fresh white paint gives this photo an Art house / Bauhaus aesthetic. Good job!

As soon as I saw that pic on the wide screen, I missed my Nikon D90. It was stolen 6 years ago and I haven't been able to afford a new one. It sickens me to think of the sweet pictures I could be taking. I'm making less money per hour now than I was in 1997 for the same job, so I don't see it being replaced any time soon.

Oh! the rhododendron didn't clone. Neither one showed the slightest sign of developing roots. They looked great until about 2 days ago. Oh well... nothing lost.

Thanks for stopping by

Day 19 Flip

She needed water, the question was how much. She's close to Cat drench time. I decided to give her 2 gallons of Transplant water. That will keep her happy for a good 4 days. I'll post pics at Shiggity's Cat Drench thread Timing the cationic drench

I also gave her a half kits worth of the Recharge, a nice pruning under her skirt, and sprayed Destress.

Clones got there new light installed. I need to do a better job hanging it, but I'm too tired for all that tonight. The light needs to be raised also. It's at 24" right now. Gonna try for about 32" and see how they stretch.

Looks like it will be dry in perfect time for the cat drench! Your instincts are impeccable. Great things are happening at masonman's house. That cartoon bear can sure grow some honey!

Thank Shiggs...

Oh! I hung the new flower light at 18". The plant hated it. It started to bleach the leaves. I raised it to 24". Tomorrow, if I have time, I'll prune the bleached leaves and keep a close eye on her to see if 24" does the trick. I've been so busy... I let them bleach longer than I should have. Maybe 10-15 sets have bleached. I'm sure it's not a big deal. Promise I will do better on my next grow.

Full update in a couple days when she gets her first Cat Drench. She's starting to pack on the resin. Cant wait to upload some pics... :cheesygrinsmiley:

Day 26 Flip

Gave her her first Cat Drench when she woke up.

20ML Cat Drench
2ML Tea
2.75 Gallons Water

She's due for a spraying of Brix tomorrow.

What I thought were bleached leaves, looks more like they were burnt. I was so busy, I never turned off the LED and looked at them under natural light. Either way, I raised the light to 24". This light is one bad mofo!!! Never thought I would have problems at 18"

You'll see in the pics, the burns are centered around the lights core footprint. I decided not to prune them. I'll pluck them when they are dead.

Looking good overall. Please see a couple suggestions in my response below. :passitleft:

Great looking plant bud! Honestly, I'd pinch those bad leaves and get the healing process accelerated. The plant is probably trying to heal those poor leaves. If you snip them, she will heal up and get to growing much faster than leaving them.

I totally agree with getting the necrotic tissue out of there. Good call. The leaves will actually heal surprisingly well sometimes, but it's not worth it. They'll spend more energy on repairing the damage and not as much on forming flowers. Good call, mate. Snip 'em off!

In addition to good gardening practice as mentioned by Canna, I'd do a couple things based on those pictures:

1. Top dress with Epsom salts. 3 to 5 tablespoons for 7 to 10 gallons is about right. It's not too critical in that range.
2. Prepare enough water to thoroughly soak the plant and add 10 mils Tea per gallon, along with 1 ounce of Transplant per gallon. Drench it slowly and thoroughly, using a saucer is great.
3. Foliar spray with DeStress
4. If you have 'em, you can also top dress with some worm castings at this point.

I think if everything goes the way I think it will, you'll have some buds that any of us would be proud of. They just have that look to 'em.

OK, will prune at lights on tonight.

I'm assuming you mean to skip the 2nd Cat Drench and give her the Rescue Drench? Should I do this drench as soon as possible, or wait until her next watering in 5-7 days?

Sorry for the confusion.

I didn't realize the light burn messed her up that bad. Or, did you see something other than the burnt leaves?

Thank you for your help :thanks:

Yeah, I'm seeing that the soil energy went a tad flat and they'll fade a bit if you don't hit 'em. Nothing serious, just the difference between really good and F'in Great.

Ideally, they enter the Cat Drench window with good soil energy and bright green stems and petioles. You're starting to show just an early hint of Chlorosis---which is where we want to be---but I'm worried it's going to get a bit worse, hence the Epsoms.

SuperDrench will get the soil energy back up where it should be. Should be an epic harvest!

OK... I'll skip the second Cat Drench. She's pretty well watered right now. I'll have to wait at least a few more days before she can take any substantial amount of water. That will give me time to round up some earthworm castings. I used all I had for my outdoor soil.

Clone Day 26 Veg

They got there first Growth Energy feeding today. Soaked them in a container with 10ML GE, 2ML Transplant, .5ML Tea in 1 gallon water. Sprayed Destress (full strength .5ML / fl oz water)

This is their first watering since transplant. 26 days... lol I must be doing something wrong... See below

Day/night temps constant 67F and 48% humidity. I cannot adjust these stats at the moment. They are just going to have to deal with it.

its a little cool for maximum growth to occur. Lockout can occur. Some cooler growing strains might work. :circle-of-love:
