Your setup is well thought out and clean. I will have to come up from Eugene one of these days and check it out. I keep telling the wife that growing is an accepted and valid hobby. But she still has some stigma from the past.
helloBud, you are always welcome to Mars family.
Hi you bald oldgrower... Lol. My baldness is from the 4 women in my house. The wife and 3 daughters. Whew... Lol
Hey guys, Im thinking of adding more light to my 4x4 tent. I have a Mars2 900 in there now. Any suggestions on which to light to add? I could go with another 900 but would that give me a hot spot in the middle between the 2 lights? Or would the Reflector 144 be better because it is longer and would cover from end to end better? Cheers
Thanks Calidreaming. I have never done a Journal before. I didn't even know what it was until LEDBud said to do it, and I said what? LOL.
I didn't even know about this MarsPro forum until I started researching the Sellers of the MarsPro to see if they were Legit and trust worthy to buy from. So I found this forum on 420 and saw it was a couple of years old and everyone loves MarsPro and SmokeSara.
So I started the journal showing the beginning stages, then installing the lights when I get them. Hooking up the Co2 next week. And etc and etc throughout the whole process. It is becoming fun, my new hobby and everyone here is so nice and supportive.
I wanted a grow room that I could walk into and enjoy it without being to many plants all over the place. lol.
That is a beautiful sight!! I have been wanting a 48x3,5 for a while now.
New to the forum but have since received the Mars Hydro 2.3x2.3x5.3 Tent and ordered the 300W Mars LED light on eBay that I'm currently waiting for.
I have 2 clones (Sherbert and Black Lime Reserve) I got from a dispensary that I've had in vegetation under 8 23w CFL's since Oct 2. Each are in 1 gallon planters with Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil. I'll be transplanting these babies to 2-3 gallon planters in a week or so when I decide to flower.
Since I'm at work I can't post pictures but I'll probably do so tonight. Can't wait to add the 300W Mars Hydro and possibly supplement it with my CFL's for my flowering stage.
Thanks @TheCelt - and I bet there's a lot of people who assume I could be a robot or MH affiliate but I'm not actually. I did have a small issue in my experience with purchasing the tent but MH solved it all for me.
I'm a rookie grower and this is my first grow after scouring the internet for a few weeks. Anyways, can't wait to share my first grow with everyone here and look forward to any advice you guys may have.
Wow after reading much of this thread I think I will get some Mars lights.
I have 500 quid altogether to spend so any ideas? I want to grow in soil indoors in a tent.
Maybe the 2' 3''x 2' 3''5' 3''Grow Tent but I may upgrade so which light do I go for?.
Hey Monkeygun
If you are going to use a tent and a Mars light, they used to have tent/light combos with some decent deals and anyone I have seen using the Mars tents have said they were decent quality
I don't see the combos on their sight anymore but if you check with Sara they can probably still do a combo deal for you
I bought one of those with a 400 watt mars II for $248 USD delivered to my door. I had one bag seed plant at 5 weeks veg i put in there, and 2 white widow plants a few weeks later. The bag seed gave me about an oz and a half of excellent hard frosty buds, and 25.1 grams of nice sugar leaf for butter. Locally, weed of lesser quality goes for $300. I more than paid for my set up with the one plant. The white widows will be done next week, they were only vegged about 4 weeks due to time constraints, Im hoping about 2 ounces buds total from the two, and some more butter fixin's.
Hey guys i just got my light up and running and i am about to plant 7 seeds that have been germinating for a little over 2 days in soil i was wondering how far away i should set the light from the solo cups? Thank you all in advance. I will post pics after i plant the seeds
They have not sprung out of the soil yet. I just put them in solo cups they had little tails on them. But good to know for when they surface. Right now i have it up 45 inches just to heat the room, it was at 75 degrees and 60% humidity last i checked. Thank you all in advance
A trip to Home Depot resulted in a new ducting system for the room , in the cooler months air from outside is pulled in with a 6 in fan and reduced to 4 inch and run through the tent with ducting for each light , in the warmer months the fan can be reversed.
I want a job. I am more then willing to help with the taping, boxing and loading. Wait .. do you drug test for marijuana? if you do, nebermind. If you don't I will take that job if you have one to offer.
