Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

:cheertwo:thank you, LED Grow:cheertwo: They will cover your space.:) I hope to see them soon. :yahoo:
:cheertwo: i just ordered 2 mars 2 700w with switches, and i can't wait to get them in my tent for my new grow.:MoreNutes:

I start my first grow with 2 plants (pinneapple chunk ) under a scrog in my tent (90cm by 150cm) i think it is 3ft by 5ft.
Hope the 2 mars 2 700w are enough for that space.
When i start i will show you a weekly update on my grow with images and video.

Can't wait to start my first grow with led lights.:allgood:

A trip to Home Depot resulted in a new ducting system for the room , in the cooler months air from outside is pulled in with a 6 in fan and reduced to 4 inch and run through the tent with ducting for each light , in the warmer months the fan can be reversed.

Wow after reading much of this thread I think I will get some Mars lights.
I have 500 quid altogether to spend so any ideas? I want to grow in soil indoors in a tent.
Maybe the 2' 3''x 2' 3''5' 3''Grow Tent but I may upgrade so which light do I go for?.

Glad you found the thread and like the results of these lights

Told ya they were the nuts :):):passitleft:

 super~~ so glad to see you around. 100w/sqft... I am expecting the result.:allgood:
Hey guys. I ordered a new tent in preparation for restarting my grow in a different location. The bad news, I will only be running 1 small tent, a Mars-Hydro 2'3"x2'3". The good news is, I will be putting my 900 in there so I should be damn near 100 w/sqft. I may not be able to grow more then 2 or 3 plants at a time, but I should get the most out of them with that kind of light!!! :peace:

hello:hugs:Bud, you are always welcome to Mars family.:theband:
Cc

Welcome to :420:....

Hopefully someone will be around soon to answer your questions....as you can see by the awesome grows, your light is gonna be a producer of quality buds

I cant wait to go marshydro

:welcome:

:thanks: thanks for the help, super~~
I ran my 900 in the same tent. I think It is perfect for that size. You are right around 45w / sqft. I was able to run 5 flowering plants (well groomed :) ) in that size tent. 3 or 4 not so well groomed. :peace:

Just received my 600 watt old model mars hydro led grow light plugged it in man its bright hole lot more white then I expected but I see how that can be helpful most of use add cfls with leds in the past so it seems it be helpful been waiting on this light so I can put it to action see what it can do I started my seeds under cfls so I hung it 4ft that seems like its far enough from my seedling still think during floor im throw in at least 200watt cfl tords the last weeks just because ive had good results in past with this method using led if it ain't broke don't fix it I like stand by that method but in long run this seems be good quality light just not used to a on off switch this light is plug in play like ufo light not like my apollo 12 I have but I like grow with 1 panel when I first get them see how they work on there own try dial it in then my next grow I can use both and see what results it brings I figure 2 autos under 600watt mars hydro should do great want to keep posting results here with this light because when I was looking for reviews there weren't to many people should know if these lights work there awsome price for good light from company that seems stand by there product so I couldn't be happier I'll keep yall updated

:thumb: very good advice :thumb:
Super nice! Train them flat with LST, keep the light a little further away at first to make sure you don't burn them with all that goodness, say start at 36" away if you are putting seedlings in there or 24" away if they are established plants. Then lower it a couple inches every week, and as long as you don't see any heat/stress issues, take it down to 18". Then let them cook! :) You should prepare to water more often as they will soak up more water with this much light, and also think about some light nitrogen feeding every watering to keep up with the growth (like 1/4 strength). Veg in 18/6 for 6 weeks, then flip. You should have monsters on your hands in no time, and they should turn the tent into a jungle.

disclaimer - I have only done one grow, all advice is based on what I have read and my understanding at the current time. Take all advice with a gram of coke.

It looks a little closer to me :circle-of-love:but as long as it works, it's good.:):thumb:
Here is a better photo. As long as the difference isn't more than about 6-8 inches, this worked well for me.
