Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Happy new year fellow Marsians and growmies. for my two pence worth on the lights discussion above. I run the new sp3000 Mars and have 5 autos in week 2 flower. the light is just about coping with that cover and still proving very capable. I could have got another under too but needed more seeds to germ ( done now) and once they germinate i will add a tsl2000 for a decent 4x4ft which will run 11 autos without an issue.

I am getting some great results with rock solid buds instead of the airy, loose ones i used to get with 1200w HPS. I ran 2x tsl2000 and an sp250 with 11 plants and managed to pull over 40oz of amazingly dank autos. This draw was still only 850w using all three. I am not too strict on reflecting the lights off the walls at all and this was direct light alone. The penetration was excellent with a little l.s.t. Mars are very good at being open about coverage and the abilities of their tech but will underestimate their capabilities slightly in my experience. Great for the customer as we don't feel dissapointed with the results at all. Inlove their products in the time I have been a Marsian ( even coined this term during my conversion ! Lol) for me now , a Mars tent would finish my room perfectly now as I use a horrible roof space with an horrendously awkward roof angle I can't seal !!. lol
can't go wrong with Mars growmies

Looking forward to seeing what they going to bring
I have seen the samples, they are very good and the price is very reasonable. Well, I can only stop here:slide:

thats cruel.lol we had to wait for santa clause too

Can you give us some little details of the new light so we can plan ahead a bit?
This is a Samsung chips light, which is expected to go on sale in March;)

I did some bad math... Your right... I agree 1000 would be good choice
Here is my argument. From what I know about growing cannabis is this: The more light you can project on the plant the better the results. The par value of sunlight is between 900-1500μMol/m2/s. Why wouldn't I want to get as close to that as possible?? The t2000 will physically fit in the tent. My goal is not produce high yields hence the 2x2 tent. I am after the best product that can be grown. Here are some screen shots from the Mars-Hydro website with measured par of the 2 lights. I think the consensus is the t1000 is a good fit. But I want to go to 11 :)
