Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I kind of agree with snarlyweed even though that would mean my vote would be discarded, it would be simple for someone to set up a couple of extra accounts changing the outcome of the competition, ( not that smoking makes me paranoid or distrusting but it would be so easy for a valuable prize) or maybe not include votes from users registered since the competition was announced.

It's 4 Mars pro II 80's

Are those mars 144 reflector, I have 2 192 reflectors I never knew how strong they were 980 watts is a lot more than I thought

The reflector series have a much better spread than the pro-series. The pro-series do however have a much more concentrated light so they are more intense for the area they cover. Both are fantastic lamps. I would go for reflector if I needed to spread the light more. With the pro-series you'll notice that they don't cover much more than 20-30 cm outside their own size. Some of the most beautiful plants I've seen was grown under the green reflectors. Great lamps

Ok mine are mars 2 reflector 192 not sure if that's the proper name but that's what I call them series 2 and I LOVE them one is for autos and colas are amazing

Awesome! I want to learn breeding. First I just want to do some simple crosses and then move on to more advanced stuff later.

Hey deville I breed all my own seeds man have done for a long long time if you ever need pollen I've got a real lot of different strains

I can see from your pictures you will excell your posts above concerning crossing and the resulting 1st round phenotypes is on the money ,you already know how its done .
This is invaluable coming in to a breeding program to think as you do and have a plan.
I'm impressed.

how do you store your pollen? And how long can it be stored?

Thanks for the reply, yes I meant the cob, how well do you expect it to do compared to the Mars Pro II Epistar 120. I can only afford one light at the moment and am unsure if I should buy the 120 or wait till the cob is available.
Thanks
