Hey, does anybody else have haze on the glass of there Mars 2 ? How can I fix this issue?

I had to take the light apart to clean the top of he glass. Looks brand new again.

Our Mars Pro II series and Reflector series are without glass cover,will not have this problem.

this is a very common issue with glass parts, sadly i havent heard much about a fix. maybe replace the glass with something different. as the haze with affect the output and it will only get worse over time.

You can clean the glass cover,but we do not recommend to remove the glass cover,as the glass cover will protect the light.

not covered via any warranty you will be on your own after you start that venture.

Without the glass cover,the heat will not remain inside of the light,but you need to keep an eye on the light,since it is without glass cover,humidity may affect the PCB or the diodes.
Next time you can check out the Mars Pro II series light,it install without glass cover and lens,it will run cooler.

I removed the glass on my Mars 2 900 almost two years ago, better cooling and easier to clean the diodes. My light is around three years old.

I have 2 Mars 2 1200 ,2 Mars reflectors 192 , 2 p900 from Platinum led but used to be called led advanced , 1 96 reflector only one that ever needed to be taken apart is the Mars 2 . Not sure why it was designed this way.

As we are manufacturer, so can purchase chips or material for lights for big bulk price, and we sell products directly to our customer, so can provide lowest price as we can, it's not because the quality isn't good enough
Mars II series light install with glass cover, it will make sure the lights which emitted from the diodes more uniform and lead the way to plants. Otherwise the lights will glowing to many different angles, and causing about 10-15% light loss.
Based on Mars II and Reflector series, we published Mars Pro II series lights, this light install without glass cover, use reflective cup, give best light performance.

remember one thing about mars they are a "budget" light. they dont use the best they use the most cost effective. while they might grow a plant at a good price point. they skimp on the little things like glass for example, it shouldnt even be there to begin with, had they tested this they would know. or maybe they did and figure meh we got that money. either way you get what you pay for.

But now we published Mars Pro II series solved the glass cover problem,the reflective cup is activing well.

Other than being silent what are the advantages of the new light, are they more reliable or more light output for the wattage, and how many months is it likely to be till they are available
