Wtf? Grow however you think is best, but don't knock a light that you haven't even finished 1 grow with, and then suggest you'll get yourself a refund after using it. You kept your light way higher than recommended for a long time. I told you about the shallow penetration and how best to flower with it. It's something all LED's struggle with. You have to train, defoliate, feed a bit differently than with HID.

You are not even 4 weeks through flowering... the flowers are only beginning to swell. You should just be patient and stick with your plan, then you can make all the posts you want about how awesome/terrible it

I never said they are bad lights I said so far they don't seem to be what I am looking for. I have paid for extended warranties and return policies because I paid for it through my credit card so yeah. There's that. I have had it hanging at what Mars recommend me between 12/15 inches. Like I said I think for what I'm looking to do hps as main light and led as supplement lighting. I have another month before I have to return it so I will let it go because you feel like I will be good. I have seen what has been done with the Mars ll 1200 and other mars lights this is just not something I can mess up on and have a small yeild so I'm am nervous using leds for the first time. Don't mean to be offensive I'm just speaking what I feel and my experience.

i think you should do a whole grow before dropping conclusions on any light imo i think i get a ok penetration.

this white widow seedling were 13 inch tall så not so big maybe bud small buds shot up from under the ground and i had to dig them loose from the soil actually under 48x5 reflector. gave me nearly 60dry even it had a had time untill i got those mites under control

other one i have flowered is this one. and both had spidermites the hole run so they could properly have done even better, this on gave 107 dry. both under 48x5 reflectors

so i think they are more then ok for the price. and i have been a real LED skeptic and HPS fanboy to the max.

About 3 weeks it is now time to water my Plants again.
I have premix water in my 25 gallon water tank with Silica and Cal/Mag set to Ph 6.5.
I use this mix every other watering without the Nutes added.

I then fill the Blue Picture, for watering with the Nutes, 1/2 full and then squirt one pump from each of these Nutes.
Pro Grow, Silica Blast, Sweet Berry, & Liquid Karma. The Ph is still around 6.5

Plants are looking great.

I would love to but seeing how good it did with the hps and led I think for me it would be better to use the 60x5s I have with the hps. I could keep the light for another month before I can't return it, so I can finish this grow with it but I don't want to run down a light then return it I would rather just return it so they can at least resell it. I guess i had to high of expectations. I just wanna make sure I get what I need from this grow.

Let me smoke a few joints I'll design a tent pro lighting system that would dwarf any before. Complete with an external integrated touch screen tablet that not only records tent conditions but also includes multi soil probes,co2 levels, lighting timer, time lapse recording/night vision camera, auto watering/ph/ppm/nutes system/ complete with gravity watering tank.

Just an update chopped my Sunset Sherbet on 1/3 and dried slowly for 10 days and now curing. Got 45 grams flowers and 25 grams trim along with 10+ grams of fan leaves. Pretty satisfied with this grow and just cut down the Black Lime Reserve next to it just now and its currently drying in the tent. Pics when I can accss a PC.

Anyways, 100 watts of CFL during veg for 4 weeks on both Sunset Sherbet and Black Lime Reserve. Added the Mars 300W LED first week of flower and Sunset went about 65-67 days flower, with dry for 10 days and current curing. My Black Lime Reserve was cut last night and should dry quicker and possibly more yield than my SS.

Overall after smoking a few joints of SS it is on the hinge of drying completely and smokes fine with the ashes turning white. I'll have a yield and smoke report on the BLR in due time.

Honestly, I'm surprised because its my first grow. Thanks MH and the forum for the long continuous help and I've still got a lot to learn. You guys have been great.

but you still did all the work yourself dude. and you got to the harvest so give yourself a pad on the shoulder a bit m8. im curretly helping two newbies IRL they fuck up ALOT one popped a 250cfl flower and then a 150veg cfl within 2 days and that now tree lamps in under a year he broke being stoned and stupid an LAZY and thats with someone growing for ten years helping them out. their problem they don't listen and only do stuff half ass and don't read their books. the other one fucked up with 600w hps in tent due to getting air from outside a cold roof window, i warned him noumerous times about changing the air intake somehow he did not listen. so big as mold issue when i dropped by him to check it out one day. becourse he did read his books and did stuff HALFASS

you properly chose to listen to some of these guys up in here and read your books and bibles so thats all on you man and next time will be better when your not having only 100w cfl at the beginning.

so just wait untill you find you right plant training regime, get into a good use of some line of nutes and learn your lights dues and don't peak distance penetration abilty etc. im sure if you train the next ones properly you will easily double you result with a bit of practice. One years dedication and doing your damn homework and keeping a disciplined approach to the hole thing, you'll be as good as any guy up in here almost if you have a wee bit of a brain its not rocketscience to grow with respectable results. Its more like mowing the lawn on a small green John Deer lawnmower with a beer in the cupholder and a blunt in the hand nice and stress reducing 99% of the time

Because it's in a MH tent I have limited space but after seeing what people have done here with topping and SOG it amazing how much more yield we can get.

The learning experience has been fun as well. I also can't wait to hold a beer in the cupholder and blunt while chopping my outdoor come summer.

sog you mean topping and scrog right? or else you should look a bit at scrogging i dont even top mine i only lst i think its tree runs since i last topped a plant they shooe like crazy under LED if you train and prune then right M8 just wait and see one day yourself

I wasnt looking to spend much on lights but overall the cost per month and and light cost were so small and will likely yield more than 100 grams flower on 150 true watts from the MH and 50 watt CFL to supplement for first time grow.
