Just ordered 2 old style mars 300s. They should be here by wednesday or thursday and I'm really excited to try them out. They should do the trick for my small area and until i have the money to upgrade.

A shout out to anyone considering Sara and Mars lights. I have been running them for the last 2 years since it was TOP and they have been doing great.

Recently I had a reflector unit go out and Sara stepped up and handled the warranty claim right away and even made sure that the solution fit my needs specifically to my current garden. Class act for sure!

Right now I have 4 monsters trying to tear off the walls of my 2x4 tent under 2 Mars 400 IIs and they love it!

I was so excited to recently add (2) 144 x 5 Reflectors to my (2) 192 x 3 Reflector lights and add a 144 x 3 Classic that I won in the Christmas contest. In total my habitat was receiving 62 watts per square foot and my 13 plants were growing extremely well. I was very proud at my result thus far.

6 of 13 planted from seed were Barney's Farm Cookies Kush Feminized and over the weekend I discovered ALL 6 Barney's are MALE plants. I chopped all six today with anger and discust. After Googling Barney's I now realize what a mistake I huge made.

Hopefully my (3) LA Cookies and (2) LA Affie by the Cali Connection turn out to be female. (2) Coma Kush by Canuk have a home here as well

Going for a personal best with this one guys, 30 ounce plant minimum but hoping for a kilo off her. Going to be adding a 600w HPS central when shes flicked to 12/12 and a mars 700 either side of her​

I know this is a blast from the past, but how long was the veg time + which strain?

Hi there, now I ordered the Mars II 900W (with bloom/growth switches) and a 3' 3''x 3' 3''x 5' 11'' Grow Tent from Mars Hydro, together for 427.- USD (LG-LED SOLUTIONS LIMITED)

What kind of fan, (carbon)filter etc. do I need for this tent/lamp, any suggestions?

Hi Stoney, you can add more light to the led side. Them you can compare them at the same starting line.

OK so the first 2 pics are the side that had the hps and led over the 3rd pic is of just the led side. I am pretty impressed with the trichome production on the hps led side compared the the led side. There is about 7%+ more trichomes on the hps led side then the other. So it leads me to wonder if with leds I won't get as much trichomes or that they start to produce at a diffrent time with led. If someone with more knowledge please chime in.

The side with more light did better. Put another more powerful led on the side opposite the hps so they have the same amount of light and it wouldn't look like that.

Hi gudyul, thanks for sharing this info.

hps may have more uv. I was thinking to hang a couple uvb reptile bulbs. Unfortunately you may shorten the grow cycle with the uvb as the leaves will start to yellow . Cellular apoptosis from the uvb (read link below in sig and draw your own conclusion. THought I read something about leaves yellowing when UVB was applied for 6 hours a day towards end of flower cycle , more trichomes and more yellowing. THis is why the UVB is not applied full strength too soon perhaps. JM2Cents.

yes, Stoney, then you will have a balanced lighting.

I'm thinking it was because hps Offers more uv and ir rays. I am going to hang another 60x5 on the other side of my mars 1200

I would get at least a 4 inch inline fan and filter. If your growing area is pretty hot you can bump it up to a 6 inch with a speed controler so you could find that sweet spot for temps in your tent. Your light and tent should be a pretty good combo.

Hello Klovneposen...the grow bar is only for wholesale order... and they are only stocked in China. It's not cost-effective for only several pieces. Reflector has been stocked in our warehouses. Even though they will ship from China together, I am afraid that they couldn't be packed together as their dimension is totally different. I see on the Mars web page that your sidelights a asked for some time back, have been put up there now great. but it says it is only sold in holesale why is this? i would love to install one or maybe two in the closet some day to support the undergrowth a bit more than the top lights are capable of. you do not need maybe a tester on one of the smallest just? *LOL*

seriously how can i order one at some point? i currently does not have the storage space for a 20ft container containing 300 lights in my 60ft2 sized miniature apartment. Im actually thinking about buying a small reflector more when the money is for it. so i could make a small cabinet more so i have a bit extra as a supplement to the other closet cus i have a hard time keeping up with the demand from different sick people wanting to try out cannabis at this time. currently i used all my own meds on them (im an idiot sometimes lol) so i need to upscale a bit. if i order that extra reflector from your site at some point could i maybe order one of those small bars with the same pakage maybe?

also in the long run i think those small bars would be very good for my nursery and veg room in bottom of the closet as well.

oh yeah BTW did you redesign the webpage? it is really informative and great looking now i think it was not like this last time i looked maybe?

Hello there i am on my first medical grow right now and i have a gorilla tent that is about the same size 3x3x5'9" with a 900 Mars II and i bought this complete kit and it works amazingly. Just set up the fan and filter on the outside of your tent to save yourself vertical space because of the smaller tent. To add my 2 cents worth..
add a 4 inch vent fan on a controller you do not want to much neg pressure inside your tent you will draw in any critter who gets near the opening... with such a small area a carbon filter is not needed just a a addnl expense not really needed. get a odor absorber like ONO gel or similar will keep the smell gone from the inside ONO can be found on ebay as well as janitorial supply houses
I am new to LED's for full cycle use have used them with grow with excellent results
I am currently using 3x 133x5 reflectors to replace a 1k I use to flower I will post pics soon as I had promised Cecilia I would when she gave Me the deal on My reflectors. I do appreciate the comments I have seen on this thread and hope to learn more as I share My experiences with you as well so far the stretch is done plenty of healthy bud sites

Here is the beginning of week three in the 3x3x5'9" Gorilla Tent with a Mars II 900 Led light. 3 Blue Dream and 1 Green love potion all in 3 gallon smart pots and 1 Buddha's gift in a 1 gallon smart pot. The second picture is the Advanced nutrients i am doing this week. This week Bud Blood stopped and was replaced by the B-52 and the Sensi grow has been since week 1 and the big bud since week 2 and i just finished lolipopping them so i am expecting the buds to start exploding soon

Hi Glitch, I am sorry to hear about this... Hope you will solve it soon.

So I'm a lil over a week into veg and getting cal mag issues. I use distilled watter since my tap has to much dissolved solids. Got me some calmag into this feeding. Soil ph is 6.2 so I shouldn't have a nute lock. Think my distilled watter is the issue.
