Mars-Hydro DWC 1 Plant 4x4 Scrog

Update on Impatience and the Three Blue Kings.

Impatience did not become a large plant, but she is fattening up some nice buds anyways. Feed is currently at 890 ppm's and she taking it in stride. I think if I would of let her recop longer after the broad mites issues, she would of gotten larger, but I spend to much time on her already and it's time to move on. I still expect a decent smoke because she smells great and very sticky.

The images are from 7-26 to 8-3

I will do another update shortly for TBK's.
Some beautiful colours in that

Now for the TBK's update.

Her feed schedule according to Blue Planet Nutrient is 10ml micro, 10ml grow, and 10 ml of bloom per gallon. The only other thing I am using is 1 and a half scoops of weed grow, 5ml of cal-mag and 10 ml of Hydro-Guard. ppm's are currently at 980 ppm's. Showing no real signs of any issues, even with the ppm's higher than I have gone before. I also changed her from a 3 1/2 gallon bucket to a 5 gallon one.

The 5 gallon bucket also has the chiller probe installed and working. The reason I am using a 5 gallon bucket instead of the 10 gallon is to show the average DWC bucket with the probe. Last temperature check was 20.6 c. in the middle of the bucket. I placed the probe at the one gallon line and two gallons submerges the probe.

Here some images of what I am doing. Date on the images is 7-26 to 7-30.

Three Blue Kings
She's looking pretty sweet Tok... might be the one... you may want to pick up a ring. :laughtwo:

How you liking the Blue Planet so far... seems like pretty good stuff.

Buds is looking chunky too... won't be long.

@Diatomacious I won't need to pick up a ring; I made one out of chewing gum wrapper.

As for Blue Planet Nutrients, I like them a lot, but the only thing is the dosage and the ppm's doesn't match up with their feed chart. Aside from that great, I have not taken my ppm's this high before, for fear of burning her up, but she seems to be doing fine, Blue Planet Easy Weed dry seaweed is something else when it comes down to boosting vitality.

Everything is looking fresh, Tokin!

Carry on. :Rasta:

Love her color. Does sound like quite a bit just keep your eye on her. I picked up some of the easy weed dry formula to play around with myself.

Good morning 420 Magazine.

Time or maybe a tad late.
I will start out with Impatience (GC) and then do another update of TGK.

Impatience is moving along nicely, probably one more week. I will be doing a solution change tonight and start dropping the ppm's. stating out with around 750 ppm's, ph'd to 6.0.

The image go up to 8-8.

Now for Three Blue King's soon to be called "The Blues Brothers" aka (TBB's). I know it's female.

So to start out there has be a lot going on with TBB. It began a couple days before I installed the chilling probe. The temperature of the solution in the bucket was above 73. degrees and what happens when the water is above 72 degree?
You got it, the dreaded root rot. I put the chilling probe in right after I notice it. The probe has been keeping the water from 77 to 79 degrees, give or take a point. So needless to say I like it, I like it a lot, to have the ability to have better control of my water temps. Sorry no images of the control reading. This has worked out extremely well in a single bucket DWC setup. Forgot, no more rot.

The ViparSpectra: XS2000 LED Grow Light I won for JGJotM is working out great. I currently only have her at 45%, because the tent I bought for this grow is 2x4x5, which does not give much height for DWC in veg. Once, she goes in the flower tent, my TSW-2000 @Mars Hydro will not give me enough for a 4x4 tent. So the Vipars XS-2000 will be used to assist in flower coverage.

TBB has been responding to the Blue Planet Nutrients very well with the abundant of growth. I had her ppm's at about 980 last solution change and feed her nothing extra, aside from @Blue Planet Nutrients Cal-mag. Which is diluted to 2 scoops per gallon of water and Seaweed powder. Her color is good maybe just a tad high on nitrogen, but the key is she happy. I will be doing a solution change on her today, using the same ratio as last week. When I put her in the flowering tent I will increase her ppm's again.

She has been trimmed back a couple time so I can get her ready to be scrog in a couple weeks. Right now, the net looks like it will be set at about 9 inches. Currently, she stand about 12 or 13 inches above the bucket. Indica dominant strains can be quite challenging at times, because I don't get the height I enjoy. Don't get me wrong Indica's are scrogable, they just don't give me the height for working underneath her, but still very doable.

I will add more soon, it just that we have our adopted granddaughter over for two weeks. Not legally our granddaughter; just a girl who is 13, and has had a very hard life so far, that my wife and I care about

On with the show; the image are up to 8-8-21.

I also placed the control up higher, than in the images.

Thanks for stopping by @Rexer

I agree with what you said whole hardily, just the world doesn't necessarily agree with that.

I am becoming a big fan of @Blue Planet Nutrients; they are head and shoulder above the basic GH Floraduo A&B with Cal-Magic. The ppm's are in a range that is 2 to 4x high than I have used before, but I gotta say the solution has a very stable PH with a gradual drop in ppm's in between changes. The only thing I give her between changes is their powder cal-mag at 2 scoops per gallon of RO.

I apologize this is a false statement because the degrees is wrong.

I meant to say.
The probe has been keeping the water from 65 to 69 degrees, give or take a point.

I have to say that the @ViparSpectra XS-2000 is moving up my list of preferred LED manufactures. I bought a 2x4 tent just for this light, because it's not large enough for my 4x4 tent.

The dimmer is a big plus in my book for light and temperature control. Now with the chilling probe it has increase my control even more.

If you are running a DWC bucket (5 gallon) it will cost about 125.00 or so to install it. Once install just set it and sit back and enjoy the show.

Stay safe, and grow well my friends,

Tok.. :bong:

Time for The Blue's Brothers update.

First sponsor recognition starting with @ViparSpectra XS-2000 started using this light right after TBB broke ground. At that time I had the dimmer set at 35% and left it there for two weeks and raised it. On the blue's brother 75% will be my max, because I have about an 18 inch separation between plant and light, and I really don't want to stress her out from the light.

Currently about week 4 or so of veg. and she will be going in the big tent soon. @Blue Planet Nutrients thou have been a blessing, very stable on ph and a steady drop in ppm's. TBB looks happy but her color is a darker green (probably nitrogen), but no nutrient issues and she is still on week 4 on the nutrient feed schedule at 980 ppm's with a steady 5.8 ph.

Stems are still mostly green with a little bit of purple and the under growth is branching nicely. I will be scroging her even thou Indica predominant plants don't get as tall as I like, probably topping to soon at the 6th node. The lowest I have have worked with was 4 inches of room to work. I had to use a transmission funnel to feed her.
Not the solution change's, I have a pump.

The chilling probe has made this grow extremely easy with control of the solution temps. Which in turn result in more nutrient uptake.

The images are from the last couple of days.

Trim up the inner canopy for better light pentation.
