Nothing much to talk about. I keep adjusting the lights the best I can. She is starting to bud out. Everything looks to be ok. I can clearly see she wants more and better light. But shes not going to get it. I honestly shouldnt and wasnt going to flower in the little tent. But I wanted to try a CFL grow. And so far.......IDK lol. Here are some pics from the other night.

I was going to take some pictures last night but when I went to take one I noticed I had busted my lens on my NEW Galaxy S7. I will try and take some tonight with a different camera. As for the girls themselves. They are trucking along. They had a few days of stalling. Or at least they looked to be slowing down. So I am now feeding them GROW to boost growth. I think I am getting close to time but still have a week or so left.

Hey there, sorry I haven't been around much, had to take a little break to get life straightened back around. Plants have grown quite a bit since I was here last and are looking very healthy. You sure are on the right track! I see you're having some room issues with the cfl grow you started. It looks like you still have some room on the sides, I would bend them shoots back some more to gain some canopy room. If the plant continues to stretch to much you may have to do some super cropping to get them top buds away from the lights. Once branches are super cropped you can make them grow sideways if need be. You can make it work, I have faith Keep up the great work!

Thank you for the kind words. I think the stretch is pretty much over. Now its time to fill out. I was trying to keep from spreading out the colas too much as I want them to be able to share light from lights over other colas. And if I spread them out more. Making a bigger canopy. I would have had to spread my lights out more. I was prepared to do that tho if I needed to. lol.

I gave the girls some plain water Friday. I split a gallon between the 4 plants. I just wanted to give them enough to hold them over till Sunday. Sunday Morning I go out there and they are droopy from lack of water. So I made some nutes and fed them straight without any bubbling. I HATE doing this. Even though Earth Juice says you can do it. After you first mix them. The Ph is extremely low. It was around 4. After bubbling it will go up to 7 or even higher. Just depends on how long you let it bubble. I usually let them bubble for at least 24hrs. But I was left with little choice. And I am hoping that just once wont bother them. Anyway the mix went like this. They split 3 gallons.

Ok So First things First. Sorry about the last Update. It should have Read 19 days in flower. Not 9.

I fed her last night. She got more water Friday than the other tent so I let her nute Mix bubble for 12 hrs before giving it to her. Mix went like this

Nothing else to tell. Like I said. I think the stretch is over. She is past 3 weeks. I know that doesnt mean anything. But Im guessing she is done for the most part. So there really isnt nothing to tell other than feeding her and making sure the lights stay about an inch or 2 away. I dont know if you can tell by the pictures but every cola has its own dedicated bulb. Except the 3 small colas in the middle. Which share light from the others. Ill try and take some pictures tomorrow. Till then.

I fed the girls last night. 3 gallons of nutes. I forget the mix unfortunately. Im very sorry for that. To you AND my future self that may be looking at this for a reference. I know I switched to a more bloom heavy mix. Still had some grow in it tho but less than before.
I also did another session of defoliation. Or as I like to call it. Giving them a hair cut. I cut everything below the hoop support. I also cut some big fan leafs to allow more light penetration. Ill try and take some pictures tonight for reference. I am not very experienced at all this so I have know clue if I did a good job or took too much. IDK. We shall see. I know I left a cola with more growth just for comparison. I am very excited to see how these babies turn out. I hope I end up with big thick heavy buds. Last grow I ended up with about 2zzs a plant but they were very fluffy airy buds compared to my first grow. That gave me very dense and thick buds. I am assuming and hoping that this was due to heat problems. Again. We shall see. I will defo again after the stretch is done. If needed.

I watered them yesterday. They split a gallon and a half of plain non PHed water with 1/4tsp of MAMMOTH P. One plant is shorter than the others so I put something under her to raise her up a couple inches. I also did a little adjusting of her LST in spots to even the canopy.

I watered her last night with a half of gallon of plain non PHed water with 1/4tsp of MAMMOTH P.

Her stretch is over but her buds are still stacking so I adjusted a couple of her LST ties to bring the colas down just a bit. I want the bulbs as close as possible without ever touching. So I try to leave about an inch above the colas. But some are a bit further.

She is developing some nice trichomes already. You can see in the pictures above, they looked like they was rolled in sugar. The pictures by the way look like that because my lens is busted. Ill try to remember to take another camera out there tonight for pics. Till then

Hello there! I was wandering around my posts and I see you are doing manifolding too! Very nice setup and good job on the girls so far! I think you can safely spread the flowering girl to get as much of the light on side of the buds plus you can pluck or tuck some of the fan leaves shading the bud sites. I can also see that, since your plant had such a great side growth, I've came across a technique for those who can be with the plant everyday. It is called ponytailing and it promotes the side growth, that way you can top 3 times but only in 2 sittings. I've successfully manifolded 2 plants so far and I do really like it. Personally I go for 8 mains with 3 toppings. First time I've done it following the tutorial the plant was pretty heavy and I needed sticks to hold up, but hey I did not that great. Recently I've just went with my guts. She ended great in organic living soil and only PH'd water added. I have 300W LEDs Mars but that's pretty weak. I've topped two consecutive nodes and she ended up with nice base to her. Very sturdy. Unfortunately I do not have that much time for her and no early training was given which made 4 tops smaller than 4 other. Well she bounced back and I did managed to stretch her for good results. Feel free to come by. You are welcome.

Spread the little girl more, she can catch more light for you, also make some reflector for your bulbs (stiff paper and make some cones) so there is no light wasted. Use all the space there is still some left. Good luck!

Thanks for the advise. Iv been thinking about trying to make some kind of reflector for the bulbs but Im not sure there is enough room. All the lights are all bunched in about a square foot of room. Adding cones to each light will leave very little room to place the lights where they need to be. She is just too big for my setup and knowledge level. I am going to try and spread her out a little more tonight. She needs to be rearranged a little. I also didnt lollypop her far enough down. But as I am half way thru her flower. I dont want to do it now. I should have done this totally different. I should have topped her, took the 4 branches it gave me and switched her. Only allowing the 4 to grow and only allowing it to get about 8 inches tall total.

Mars Hydro now has some small LEDs that appear to screw into a regular light socket. I am thinking of trying those out. But there just isnt enought info on their site about them. Anyway. Thanks for the words. Fill free to weigh in any time you like.

I see you have 10 23W CFLs, that's 230W. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the buds. The nice thing about the CFLs is that you can really put them wherever you want the way you have them mounted. That's a plus. You can put some cover over the whole tent, make use of some white cardboard and cut few channels for your cords. Secure it to the frame using ductape, strings wire. That way, all the light that would otherwise went to the ceiling will get down. It really helps with the flowering process. But it can get hotter there. Ppl have also made them of tin cans for each bulb. If you are halfway through the flower you can make use of backbuilding. LA's Quick Guide To Simple Backbuilding Technique For Buds!
And you can really cut off the tiniest of buds.

Iv been noticing that my light doesnt seem as strong as it was in my first grow. I was noticing it last grow and now this grow. My first grow....anything closer than 30" was too close. It was stressing my plants and making them taco. Now they are at 19" with no problems. So I started looking at the bulbs to see if any were out. And I noticed that half the blues are blacked out. The light itself is still on but the end of the bulb is blacked out. See here

I have a close up that really shows it but having troubles uploading pics right now. It only uploaded 3/4 of my pics for some reason. Ill get it up later



Iv used this light for less than a year. This is only the 3rd grow. This shouldnt be happening. I am going to email the company but its my only light. So until this grow is over. I cant send it back to get fixed even if they will fix it. I need another light. But I dont have the money. I guess I will start saving up and looking for a better light.

Sorry to hear about the light. Any way you can supplement the light by throwing in some CFLs or a couple of those small, cheap LED grow lights that are like 24 watt and fit in a standard light socket?

That last plant is looking extra yummy!
