Maine 4-Season Greenhouse Grow

Excellent photos of the DDA Blew! Worthy of DDA advertising. What kind of camera do you use again?

I upgraded from my trusty 20D to the totally amazing 6D...it's pretty impressive...got me running around taking photos again, which I love to do. I need to send in my 24-105mm lens to service the autofocus motor...so in the meantime I got a "walkaround" 500mm prime lens which is perfect for closeups...shooting buds and my wife soap and beauty products!

While the kids were swimming I madly trimmed up the last 3x auto harvest and grabbed one of the drying DDA stalks for some sunlight photos...

Hiya Blew,

DDA is gorgeous! Did you give her anything special for the purple color? She was beautiful! Nice Job!

Oohhh boyyy  Already planning out the winter grow! I’m tuned in..My partner grows out of stock tanks on his farm.. 150’s on pallets so he can move them about..
G luck with the plans

Good to hear...makes sense...I am thinking of using one indoors...

Just harvested the Cheese XXL...light yield (at 10 weeks) but sticky buds and I'll post some photos of them after they dry for a few days. Pretty convinced that the growth of the autos is driven by hours of direct (sun)light, since my winter autos under 18/6 lights do 50-75% better. Since I don't use my lights from Apr-Dec I could use them to supplement summer lighting (on from 5-9am) and likely I will try that next summer in this GH.

Always learning....

It was hot and dry here yesterday (and this latest rain seemed to pass by us in the night :() but we had an ocean breeze and are surrounded by trees...both helped to keep us from overheating.

I'm probably repeating myself here (and it's worth repeating) but I tell my 9/11 yr old kids that this will be their major issue throughout their life...all the drama will connect back to rising temps....food, water, the basics....I tell them in California (and I am sure other places) it is illegal for people to collect rainwater. I love seeing their eyes bug and jaw drop....yup, it's a crazy world sometimes...
Really? People can't harvest rain in other states? My mouth is open with this bit of info.

thanks for posting that little tidbit of info , i am in agreeance with you on that . my autos are not getting enough light maybe 8 hrs a day , they pop up quick and then just sit there ?! The only one that did finally took off got taken so i will never know . The three i put out a week ago came up 3 days with Gods rain , i need to ck. them today i know there not needing water the two ii one pot (yea i know ) soil has green shit growing on top not good will need to remove and stir but not disturb !

I double checked and here is what one link said:

"Meanwhile, of the 12 States that do have laws, none of them prohibit the practice, only regulate it. Those states are Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington."

This is a better link because it details every State's Regs....so why not exactly illegal, many homes (and their systems) have to be permitted and/licensed, which makes me wonder what if yours...isn't? Where I used to live if you didn't have a permit and did it...it was illegal.
