I wash the buds on the stems and then air dry them in the root cellar for 6-8 days, then into jars of the long cure.

Sounds like you got everything ramped up and ready! Woot Woot!!A few steps closer to it...just finished mixing all 12x VC tote bins and got the mixer out of the GH. I think I am in good shape for about 6-8x 10-gallon autos and the 30/45's...now I can start space planning (dragging 30 and 40's to their spots) and then I'll pull out their future residents from the Box and just sit them in the pots for the next 2 weeks or so.
Big day at farm as well...got both GH's vented for summer and finished loading (compost, seaweed, food, worms) 32x (total) VC bins...

Well, mixer is out of GH, pots are all lined up and I am pulling all of them out of the Box tomorrow. Pictures when it all happens...

12x VC bins with amendments (60 ft3 Vermiculite, 80ft3 Perlite, 35 lbs (hydrated) coir, 20ft3 Pro-Mix, 10lb greensand, 10lb Azomite) yielded approx 325 gallons soil.
Do you amend with anything else?

Just some of the seaweed...and some mycorrhizae.
I will also be watering with aquaponic water which will be high in N.

Well you are growing outdoors so I don't think you run into the increased calcium demands that LEDs can put on you. If I had to pick something.....Probably up your mineral amounts. They are possibly the most underrated aspect of soil as it pertains to cannabis. I know you have the Azomite....but I would add some Basalt and some Glacial rock dust. I think if you add enough kelp, you should be good on most everything else.

I thought vermiculite contributed to minerals?
Never used basalt...will check with my local feed store.

Summer Grow officially begins today as all plants are out of the Box and enjoying the sunlight (and cooler nighttime temps which will harden them).
NL auto and Alien auto looking good...I think the Alien has about a week and the NL maybe 2....
All the plants are under the watchful eyes of Greenhouse Chicks....

Wow blew... the GH looks amazing.... the birds are eyeballing those plants like "mmm I wanna peck the shit out of you" . Are the Black Sexlinks for eggs? Eatin? Or pets?

Thanks Blew ! I don't think my basement would every dry them before they went to rot or mold ? But i have heard of the jars and want to try it out when times right .

Sexlinks are for eggs, and we add to our stock every other year (as others die or go missing)...so there are a dozen chicks currently in the GH and I'll put them out in their own full time outside area when their feathers come in a little fuller and temps stay above 40F at night. We use other breeds for meat birds.
