Maine 4-Season Greenhouse Grow

Ok, looking for recommendations/feedback for a grow tent. Last winter proved it was possible to grow in my GH, but it was a little nerve-wracking with power outages etc. I have access to a more environmentally stable space....our guest cottage. The basement of the cottage usually hovers around 50F through the winter (we don't heat it). My main rationale for a tent is to contain the light since locals know we don't sleep there and I would run 18/6. I have plenty of space so I am thinking 4x4x7+. The idea is run a grow through the winter months (Dec-April) and disassemble in the Spring.

Can I naturally ventilate? I don't care about fragrance. What else am I missing here?
Yeah that will work well for you. I have the Vivosun 4x4 and I really like it. 2 years and no issues. U won't need a carbon filter, just a fan to expel warm air from the tent. A little 4 or 6 inch intake fan would do you just fine brother.

Mars hydro has some good tents. I'm running 2 of them. A 4x4 veg tent and a 4x8 flowering tent. Look up Sara and she usually can give ya a deal.
Good idea.

I didn't know they also made tents...I got a note out to Gorilla to see if they can sweeten the already generous 420Mag 10% off discount.

Yup, I stink (haha) at naming scents...plus my hands still smell of fish from this morning! But, they smell GREAT and are stacking hard...it's getting difficult to get images...i have to stand on a bucket and still pull them down (for the big clusters)....

Beautiful Blew

When I look at tents I look at them as as a scrogger. For me I need to get in the back to water and defoliate and do whatever comes my way. Some of the fancy expensive tents don't open the way I like. So knowing the way you're going to use it will answer some questions for you. And spray the zippers every month or two with silicone for a silky slide.

Sounds like temp shouldn’t be an issue but humidity always seems to be. Have you thought about a dehum...just in case?
I have one but I don't think I'll need it...would be more energy than I'm willing to expend if it came to that.

Hey blew, My tents are out in an unheated shed. I went to the thrift store and got blankets to cover them up, oil fill radiation heater on a controller and you'll be golden
I already have that mode available in the Grow Box in the GH....my concern is winter storms and losing power. The Cottage is sitting there at a constant temp of 55-60F and I have water, fridge, wifi, toilet....:)

In a few years we hope to have battery storage for our 3kW at the Cottage...hoping I can sneak in before we lose the 30% Federal tax credit 12/2019...current prices are stupid high...not sure if they'll align in 18 months.

55 is perfect, I wouldn't be concerned about losing the power too much... unless is like a freak storm and power gone for multiple days. Even then I'm sure they would be okay. I'm planning to keep my heater on a low temp this winter... maybe 14°c... last year it was on 20°c.

If I lose power while growing in the GH I am fooked....the light keeps the box between 50-80F (on a 18/6 schedule). We had some serious storms last winter and I was amazed we didn't lose power more than we did. GH can easily get 20F w/o power. Cottage will always remain at 55-60F because it is super insulated....
