LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Main things that you're going to need is a bucket and aerator a mesh sack whether it is cloth or whether it is burlap and time and whatever you're going to use whether it is wearing casting bat guano or a mix of all put it in the burlap bag put it inside the bucket inside the water let the area run for as long as possible several days to several weeks instead of beneficial bacteria can grow the longer you run it the more you can get out of your your stuff problem is it starts to stink at the end of this cycle you can take the burlap bag out squeeze it out all you will have left is pretty much dirt lot of people throw this away I do not I take this dirt and go out to my compost and throw it directly into my compost I will eventually have to run it again

Make sure to get a small aquarium heater they like warm water.

Okay, now you've got me making something to try hydro cloning. A question I had though is are your stems in the water or above the water? Also I thought I had read somewhere that roots do not like the light and it greatly slows their growth. That fact or fiction?

The stems are above the water. They are just in the spray. I think would be best to have the roots in the dark. My cloner is a black bucket that no light gets in.

I had to share guys. Lembatoast took a slew of clones the other day. The master in action.

:laughtwo: No, you would not be alone. Lol!

Yes leaves get light and roots get none. One of the biggest mistake I see people do with clones is giving them to much light at first.
That makes the plant want to work to grow bigger instead of focusing on just growing roots. The first 2 days after I take clones I give them very little light.
On day 3 move them to the side of an led and on day 6 or 7 when the roots pop out I put them under full light. That way all the leaves will stay nice and green.

Ok so if roots of the clones don't like light should I have em covered so just the leaves get light

I have a 2 foot by 2 foot by 4 foot tent. I have already plugged in and up stuff to fill up a surge protector. I have neither more room in the tent nor Outlets to plug stufg into so no music for my plants unless I'm singing

I have 4 12 watt speakers one in each corner in normally I am playing nature sounds streams Birds cricket things that it would hear all on its own if it can hear

I always ask myself one question if I Am rough with my clones my veg to my seedlings will they understand stress as an adult because if I stop before I put them in the flowering they should be stressed out beyond belief putting them into flowering should come them and make them more resistant to stress
I'm always thinking about how can grow my plants as close to nature as possible. They grew up wild (not cultivated) for 1000's of years, and in that time, their genes learned to adapt to different things. Their genes are programmed to overcome adversity. Fast forward to 1400BC, the egyptians start taming these tough little weeds. They're trying to teach them to behave in a different way. Fast forward to now: we coddle them and gently work with them. A 100,000,000 years' genetics to 2000 years' training. I think we confuse them with gentleness.
Also, i think they can distinguish between different stresses: animals breaking branches, deer eating parts of them, light lessening in fall... do i make sense? I dunno if i answered your question in here.
