LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Lukebro you never give up on a plant until it is dead some strange take longer than others higher stress takes longer than lower stress and so on you never give up until it is fully over

907 everyday just a little bit excess should be allowed to roll out the bottom clones like a lot of moisture at this. Until they get a lot more Roots then they generally want a little less moisture

I've never had any problems (water to soil). It's like germinating seedlings on a moist paper towel between 2 plates: once the roots come out of the husk, you transplant baby gently into a drier medium so that it doesn't drown. Think of the clone as a really big baby seed.

I will do that MerryAnna! That is a splendid way of looking at it. I imagine you very very gently pack the soil around the roots and water it just enough to get out all the air pockets?

the last two pictures after two and a half weeks of being in water that have not been pH it's finally starting to affect the Clones but this is normal because they are starting to push out roots

oh and I forgot my Afghan clones which don't seem to care about the water they are happy as can be yet two and a half weeks

What they are doing is they are using the food that they have stored inside their leaves in order to make Roots this is the reason to leave start to yellow and they start to look like they are dying because they are using their food that they have stored unfortunately once they root their self and they can actually feed for their self they will start to brighten back up if the leaves have not damaged their self too much they will actually turn green again if not they will fall off and start new growth

No there's no screwing it up all it's going to do is make it take a little longer for them to prove and do their jobs a lot of people cut the ends of their leaves off when they do clones this is supposed to force the plant to root but I do not find that to work for me

They start to wilt as soon as you cut them if they do not have the humidity to feed through the leaves even a clone that is all weeping and wilted left in good conditions it will first right back up

I'm just gonna let em do what they do and go by your advise...like I say I'm on my phone researching all hours of the day and there's soooo many opinions on everything

Remember you can always read and read and read it never hurts to continue reading new book new articles new threads and different website all it's going to do in the end is build a bigger Book of Knowledge in your head there are things that I have learned about these plants that I have still never learned to put two use you are going to be just fine if you just leave them and let them grow it's the plants instinct to try to survive

True...let me ask a hard question to me maybe easy for u....if my soil ph is 7.3 and the water is 6.7 ish and runoff is like 6 or lil below what's all that doing as far as roots being able to absorb nutes right and all that...I know ph affects the plants ability to absorb food properly

For one with that you are entering over your head it's not going to help you any to worry about what you are run off pH is it's not something that you need to worry about until you really get into depth in to everything there is a lot more you need to learn before you need to stay that into account your pH coming off of your runoff really the only indication that that is giving you is whether you are getting close to Salt log or not

Let me ask you a real question and I want you to really stop and think about it take a couple rain and you take the pH it is not 6.0 how do you think the Earth deals with the pH in nature ? because the Earth is not thinking about what the pH is of the water after it comes out the only time you would really need to worry about this is if it became a problem
