LMAO Cloning For Dummies

I have two seedlings, both with the first set of permanent leaves. They are currently growing in my cloning/seedling box under four 20w curly CFL bulbs. Is that better for them then in a corner of my grow tent under a 450 watt LED?

Anyone ever grown a Blue Dream plant? I am as one of my three plants for the winter. In my very limited experience I have never had a plant come even close to drinking as much as this Blue Dream. I typically feed a plant that size between 5oz. and 8oz. every other day. Some are slow drinkers so it might be every 3 days. This Blue Dream is easily drinking down 6oz. a day. This is also the first time I've changed the light cycle on plants going from veg to flowering. I'm thinking this has something to do with the plant drinking this much. Pulling in as much energy as possible for the stretch? Anyway, it's a beautiful plant even with 15 pipe cleaners pulling all the branches over to the point of nearly breaking. I will be taking it outside tomorrow for a thorough inspection at which time if I remember I'll snap a photo.

Hope everyone is having a great week.
If I remember listening to someone who likes it and keeps growing the blue dream. It is a water nutrient hog that likes light. Im high will correct me if im wrong. But I know they are very resistant . they can be mistreated and Still produce very well.

I'd love to grow a Blue Dream outside. If it's such a glutton (i assume) inside, what would it do directly in the soil with unlimited access to groundwater & nutes?

Hi, guys, just a quick survey:
Who washes their buds after harvest? If so, what do you use?
I've always just done a filtered water rinse, but now i'm wondering about this lemon juice & baking soda one...
Remember baking soda volcanos at school? That uses baking soda & vinegar, which combines to form (as far as i can remember) H2O2 that froths up.
Lemon juice, like vinegar, is acidic, and you can use it in the same basic way.
Does H2O2 wash away a lot of trichomes? Doesn't acidic stuff dissolve oils? (Anyone chime in here, really crap at science)
Right - so we use H2O2 to wash off nasty bugs & treat stuff while the plant is growing. BUT the growing plant can still produce new trichs, where the harvested plant cannot...
Could anyone chime in with helpful science / experience? Thanks!

Blue dreams or a very easy plant to grow Blue Dream is pretty much made for beginners it will run itself and like you said it's one of those plants that you can Screw Up 3 or 4 times and it will still recover the only thing that sucks about blue dream is they are susceptible to disease and bugs

as for the groundwater they will drink as much as you will let them and they will feed as long as you will let them feed so putting one outside you will get a lot of vegetation grow but will be hard for you during the summer merry Anna

I used to wash my buds until I realized how many crystals were actually falling off I just use regular room temperature water with a little bit of peroxide when I did it another thing to watch for when you are drying and washing buds is that they don't start to mold on you immediately turn them upside down and start the drain and drying process Fulton and washing the blood process will remove a lot of dirt dust and other stuff that lands in your plant during the flowering cycle get stuck to the trichome inside or outside this will help reduce allergens to people give it a cleaner taste but as with everything they all have their positives and negatives I hope this helps I hope to see you guys try water curing

Yeah, i figured it wouldn't survive Dec/Jan temps of 104°+F for 4-6 weeks on end. It'll be worse than bleaching the plant. I'll wait until i've converted the outbuilding into a secure grow area, with all the fancy gadgets for constant temps & proper schedules.

The sun cannot close but bleaching it's close by high pressure sodium lights and LEDs being too intense and way too close and it is possible that the Blue Dream will do just fine in that weather but the one LMAO the OG rug burn seeds strain a really good amount of heat I have ran them in Heat up to 110

Thanks. I have to wash, i don't want to smoke bird crap & dead bugs. And the dawgs... they love munching on & playing in the weed.
I might try a tiny little bit of peroxide in the next batch, but if it's the same as filtered water, i might just stick to that.
Re mold: i drip dry on racks for a day, then process for the dry. I haven't had a problem with that for ages, but it's pretty humid here at the moment...

When you cut yourself you pour alcohol or peroxide on it the foaming action of the peroxide actually pics the dirt and breaks it apart as it breaks itself down the reason I do not use baking soda and lemon juice is sometimes it can leave a film hydrogen peroxide evaporates pretty quickly I would suggest distilled water contains no TDS two very low TDS

I know, just kidding about the bleach but i've seen the sun burn native girls on an unexpected, unseasonable 110° day. I'm contructing a mesh-type hoop house to 1)protect the girls from the @#$&ing pigeons (i found one roosting on a ganja "branch"this morning, combing its damn feathers, i sh$t you not) and 2)to preserve some trichs from the hot, harsh sun. I have some green garden netting, which i'm thinking of using (plants don't register the green spectrum, so shade without limiting sunlight? Am i wrong? It feels logical, but me & science...), as well as loads of pokey, annoying chicken wire...

Yeah, i figure if it's diluted just right it will "boil" the dirt of, but leave the trichs.

If it is a full Green Sheet I would not recommend you getting one that has UV protection this will protect your plants at the same time as it's protecting its leaves from sunburn you can do it without any issues but the birds are still going to become a problem

Here is the first plant grown with a seed I grew myself. The parents were a female White Widow auto X Wonder Woman male. Wonder Woman is a cross between White Widow and Super Skunk. This along with the Blue Dream were switched over to 12/12 lighting 5 days ago.

For me the fun/exciting part is seeing what becomes of the White Widow cross. Horrible lighting but here it is. Hopefully it's a she!

I went to the recycling facility today to dispose of my trash and recyclables. While there shooting the breeze with a guy a pick-up pulls in loaded with landscaping "trash" that caught my eye. Turns out the guy runs a nursery and small landscaping business. And in his truck, headed for the recycling bin, were five pretty darn THICK 15 gallon pots. I asked about them and he said I was welcome to them. Did I mention that the plastic is THICK? If I were to see these for sale in Wally World they would probably be priced at $17.99 each. They are of little use to me inside as my grow tent is tiny. The biggest pots I've used so far have been 5 gallons. Would there be a noticeable difference in plant size going from a 5 gallon pot outside up to a 15 gallon pot outside?

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Without a doubt... That would be a hell of a root ball and could easily grow you a 1-1.5 pounder imo under the right conditions.

Hey clone crew! I took my first cutting yesterday... I'm a little nervous but she seems happy. I really want to preserve these beautiful genes

I'll keep you updated on her progress. Misting 3 times daily and her tip was cut at 90° then split with a razor. Planted in nearly pure coco with pirhana dripped into the hole. Wish me luck haha!

Just don't overthink it and be sure to give em time. Sometimes it can take me a few weeks to see roots other times I see them in a week. So just don't toss em after the first week because you think they may not root.
