LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Damnit.
Soil plants, normally planted in situ (the spot where they will grow), give me very few nute problems.
The ones in pots... usually, when it looks like a bunch of stuff is wrong, it's the roots. Makes sense, root issues cause a lack of nutes to be taken up, which then shows up on the leaves. If it's root rot, good luck, if it's salt lock, flush ASAP. ✌

I hope most my problems this go around was the soil I used...and the lighting adjustments ....she was shocked almost her whole cycle...changed nutes on her and lights and just upset her I think

Do me a favor the next time you water take a reading of your loan off use your TDS meter or your PPM meter this will eliminate or tell us if it's salt block

Yeah they seem to prefer organic and natural over the synthetic synthetic is a lot cheaper way to go but organic in my opinion is the best way to go

At this point when you are Flushing as you start finding leaves that are turning yellow just start taking them off this is a process that happens due to the lack of nutrients it eventually starts to starve the plant but remember three days before you cut her down no more water this will help her dry and cure faster

I won't go back to synthetic ...I'll just add to the botanicare line I have started now...but prob gonna have to invest in bigger jugs

As I like to say go big or go home I like to go big one thing I have noticed with the switch over to organic and natural is the increase in terpenes and terpenoids coming off of the plant

Yea I've heard of pruning during last couple weeks before harvest to help with the final pruning...and I'll starve her last 3 days...I'll be on a 10 day flush right being in soil?

I'm doing diy organic for far cheaper than anything i've ever tried... and it's not a lot of work.
To be fair, i have a lot of kitchen scraps and a well-established veg garden, and this is what i use to feed my lil monsters. But some old milk, a handful of leaves, sugar & water make enough food for a 30 plants × 4 feedings.
High, i think i should come over there & make edibles for your dispensaries. (Kitchen scraps!) Then i can show you how to give botanicare a run for their money.
Ps i have a long, ling list of ppm's for veggies in terms of N, P, K & micronutes that i can pm to anyone who's interested. (It's too long to post). You'd be surprised at how high lettuce scored in N, P & K ppm's.

I've done "general" trims a few days before harvest - get off the yellow leaves, trim "inside" (close to the stalks & stems), nothing major. I liked it because:
1) it stressed the plant a little (resin)
2) saved me a butt-load of fiddly work on the day
I've also done water-starving for varying times - too ling, the whole plant crisps up, too short, droopy fan leaves that cover up your buds & go manky. Remember, i grow directly in the soil, so my girls are 'spoiled'- they get regular waterings, so they forget about available ground water until i stop the waterings. Then they stress (resin) until they remember about the ground water, by which time it's too late for the higher colas & the lower, unharvested colas benefit from the nute rich ground water. (3-4 days depending on weather).

It'll take me a few rounds to figure all that out...what to trim and when and all that...or what stresses them the best in a good way
I dunno your situation re climate & legality, but if you'd like to try a stealthy outdoor at some point, i'm here for you. I feel everyone should do outdoor in soil at least once, to see what character (ito flavour etc) your girls could do when you let them experience the world. I find it a great comparison, a way to learn more as a grower. At some point, i want to learn hydro, indoor, coco etc, but i'm just having so much fun with the soil.

My point was (sorry, did a wake & bake, day off yay!!!) When you see what the plants do in nature, how they react to certain stimuli (bugs, wind, temp extremes), it's easier to simulate it in an indoor grow to reproduce positive results. And then, cause nature is a fickle beeatch, you know what REALLY not to do. Like, idk, bleaching your bud.

It's legal here...I know the soil here...tundra really...prob won't be good ...and yes our climate is all over the map lol...but idk maybe someday I'll do outside
