Medium - 8" Netpots with clay balls in RDWC system (5x13g buckets)
Water - Carbon-filtered well water (100ppm/8.0pH)

These ladies are cruising through week#3. The basement is staying nice and dry (45% RH) which makes it easy to control the RH in the tent. The ladies are drinking about 3g/day and are doing well at 100% of the AN nutrient schedule. I'm still feeding water through the week, with a good refresh of nutes every week.

I was looking at the Wyze camera the other day and it looked like something was wrong. All of the leaves looked dull and not as green. Upon further inspection, that's the layer of trics built up on the leaves! Everything is getting very sticky and stanky, especially for day# 26. I'm not sure I've seen this much tric build-up on the leaves this early. Is it genetics, or is it the VIVOSUN VSF6450? It's probably a little of both.

It's always hard when you're defoliating to know how much is too much. We went hard on these ladies last week, to the point where you could easily see through the middle. There were definitely times when we wondered if we went too far.

Well, all of those leaves that were removed last week left plenty of room for bud to grow this week. You can no longer see through the middle ;)

Everyone have a fun and safe weekend!

Man, they really did fill that space back in. Its always mesmerising seeing how quick they grow and recover in a Rdwc system.

That frost is a great sign, great shots too mate, feel like I could touch it.

Turning toward the mid flower stage youd have to be happy.
I'm really happy where they are. They're already starting to stink up the place, which I love.:green_heart:

I love the barneys genetics, you look like you’re doing a fine job of bringing these ones along LKA 👊 got here just in time
Thanks Joe this is my first time with Barney's Farm. My first non-420 grow. I'm really happy with what I've seen so far :yummy:

Ah mate I really hope it’s the start of a lifelong relationship 🤝 I had the poster up on my wall when I was younger circling off the seeds I’d done 🤟 good times

Forgive my ignorance mate what’s 420?

Weekly Temperatures

The temps and RH are staying within parameters. Looking over the graph, the VPD spikes right before lights-out and right after lights-on. I'm not sure there is much I can do about that. I did lower the RH on the controller, to 54% day and 48% night. That and good airflow should keep any PM/mold/budrot away. And with all the fans I have in the tent, they're getting good airflow.

Last week I kept stating I was in the third week of flower. MISCOUNT! Day# 22 starts the fourth week of flower, and I'm currently starting week# 5 of flower. I just skipped week# 4 of flower ;) Oh well, week#4 is boring anyways. These ladies are drinking about 3 gallons per day. I'm still just adding nutrients when the res goes below ~1400, which it does once a week. The rest of the time I'm giving well water with a little Epsom.

I was looking at the roots yesterday. They look good and the buckets are FULL of roots, but there is some scum on the 'tide' line where the nutrient level raises and falls daily. I went ahead of over-filled the system by 2 gallons to make sure the roots were fully submerged. I also added extra Hydroguard and Z7 (an enzymatic cleanser) to 'wash' off the tops of the roots. I'm still planning a res change at the end of this week, too.

I can smell them as soon as I open the basement door, that mix of citrus and skunk:yummy: I haven't opened the tent in several days and I didn't see any reason to today. Here's a few pictures through the tent window. Have a great week!

Thanks a lot @Bill284 I finally figured out how to embed a video, you just need to turn it into a gif first. I use giphy.com and it's pretty easy.

I had a fantastic weekend, how about you? I saw you were tubing, it looks like you're finally starting to get some warm weather. Just in time for the snow, huh

Take care.

I know crazy yesterday, I was a little dizzy and checked temps. Wow 40 c.
I've got the heat ready to go though, for nights.
And a couple box fans on the way.
I'll check that giphy.com.
:thanks:

Definitely going to need the trimming crew for this harvest lol
I'm lucky that both my wife and son LOVE to harvest/trim. We'll make a day of it, listening to music or a podcast. We get rid of most of the fans and some sugar leaves, then wash and hang each branch. The rest of the trimming will be done after they're dry by the Vivosun 19" bowl trimmer (except the best few ;) ).

It doesn't take much at 40C/104F to over-do it. Glad you have the heat ready. Now to figure out how to get the humidity below 99% every night:hmmmm: I know you've got to be getting worried as well as those buds get bigger.

Is your heat forced air? One of those greenhouse heaters may help you dry the air as well. As much bud as you're going to have in that greenhouse in a month you're going to need all the help you can get!

Take care.
