LKABudMan's Orange Grove - 4 Mimosa x Orange Punch In RDWC - Sponsored By VIVOSUN

Ditto like hell 😂

Beautiful budman, sorry I fell behind but I'm all caught up now.... And FYI I spared your inbox 😂 so I mentally liked all your post.

And nice thinning/lollipopping sir.
Thanks @HappyHazmat88 BTW you can go into preferences and remove notifications for reactions to your post. I have enough notifications about other posts without one for every like I get ;)

Will definitely do that thanks.

It's not easy to hack them, always regret not doing more trimming. Glad to see one of us got over that fear haha
Oh, it's easy to get over that fear.

Step# 1: Have 3+ pounds of medicine on hand
Step# 2: Have no intention of stopping growing any time soon

I really don't care how much I get from this grow, but it's not going to be larf ;)

I think I can get 6" by leaning the buds over, and also get a more even canopy.
More even canopy to go where? :laughtwo:

Great work BudMan! :thumb:

Thanks @Grand Daddy Black Right now I have buds at different levels. I'd love to lean them over to the same level, even if I need to cross two buds. The trick is bending them over and still keeping them spaced out.

Plants look great BudMan. :thumb:
Its a full tent for sure. The Mimosa x is a pretty plant. She can also be a very stinky girl.
Thanks @stinker I'm not too worried about the smell, my wife LOVES it :) Even so, I'll get the exhaust filter back on this weekend.

Good morning bloke.

What is larf?I was thinking about it yesterday. Is it that kind of underdeveloped bud?

Great questions @Trala when I refer to larf, I'm talking about the small, mostly inside branches that you spend so much time trimming for so little bud. All those little pom-poms in the middle of the plant. I don't need them any longer. I'm hoping by getting rid of them early more of the plant's energy will go towards the top buds. Because I like. big. buds. and I cannot lie...

It's been almost a year since I started growing, and what a year it's been! It all started with a Vivosun 4x4 tent package with a VS4000 light and some DWC buckets. I remember when I bought the light I couldn't find a lot of reviews but I took a chance. It's been a fantastic starter package and I've grown some amazing bud with that light. I grew a pound on my first grow, and grew over two pounds in my last grow!

Ever since my first grow, though, I've been looking to upgrade the light. The light is about 24x24 in a 48x48 tent. It's also only 400 watts, or about 25 watts per square foot. I would like to have 35+ watts/Sqft, and to have more even coverage across the tent. I never felt like spending money to replace it, though, mostly because the VS4000 was doing such a great job.

I was excited when I won the Nextlight 420h for April GJOTM. Together with the POTM prize of the 150h, I was finally going to get more light in the tent. I asked Nextlight if they would be willing to trade both lights for the Mega (even if I had to add a little $) and they replied that they'd check into it and get back to me. Sadly, that was the last time I heard from them. Within days they were no longer a 420mag sponsor. Even on their website all of their lights are sold out (and still are). I worked with Teddy to attempt to contact them and get the prizes I had won, but we never heard anything back from Nextlight. Needless to say I was pretty discouraged.

The fantastic staff at 420 didn't give up, though. When it became obvious that the old sponsor wasn't going to come through with the prizes they had promised, Teddy helped hook me up with a new sponsor. I really can't say enough about the staff here at 420.

Today I'm excited to announce that I've signed a deal with Vivosun as my equipment sponsor. @VIVOSUN is a relatively new sponsor here at 420 but they've been helping growers for over a decade. VIVOSUN has pretty much any equipment you need for growing indoors and then some. They've recently stepped in as a new 420 contest sponsor as well.

I've been a Vivosun customer since the beginning. Not only is my tent/light kit from Vivosun, but I have a variety of other Vivosun equipment, including trimming shears, a bowl trimmer, an air pump and air stones, a heat mat and controller, and a bunch of other stuff. I've always appreciated Vivosun for their quality and value. I'll be getting a new light for the tent along with some other equipment to play around with. I can't wait to show you all some of their new equipment.

Of course this really means that you won't be getting rid of me any time soon ;) I already have my next grow planned out and I'll be going back to seed for the next run. I'll also be sharing some pics of my new (mostly) automated indoor vegetable garden :) I'm really excited about having fresh lettuce and tomatoes throughout the year. I might even start up an auto scrog in the smaller tent!

I want to thank @VIVOSUN for showing confidence in a newer grower. I want to thank my wife and son for all their help and support. And a big thanks to all of you 420 members that help, encourage, visit and support my grow journals. Finally, a huge shout out to 420Magazine and all of the mods that keep this the wonderful site it is. They're the ones that have made this all possible. I hope I can do you all proud in the year to come!

Congrats on the sponsorship BudMan! :Rasta:

I can't bring myself to trim a bud off. I'd have to knock off the little twigs before they got fuzzy. Once they grow that white wig, I'm taking them to the end!

I am so happy for you. You have a fabulous set up and are the perfect member to showcase their products!

Well done you :)
Thanks a lot @Trala they have a lot of neat stuff ;)

You go Budman! Vivosun is next generation in light and air circ from what I've been reading! We're in for a good show! Enjoy!
Thanks @StoneOtter I'm just starting to play around with the GrowHub software, but this looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!
