Jas, you know when ya got a good thread is when someone like me visits every few or several days and finds themselves 3-4 pages back and already completely out of touch! Sorry Jas I did it again! I've been so bad with everyone lately compared to what I used to do here! Anyway I repped Conquering for ya cause he sure deserved it for that nice diagram.
Looking at your extremely trich covered buds reminds me of Mountain High. You two must have been in the same Trichometry class in high school!

thanx for stopping in man. Yea they definatly have a kind of unique look to them dont they? They kind of remind me of the KB you'd see in the 70's.....The way I think of them, but I never had any back then, was born 79'. But thats what I imagine the 70's killer green looking like. They are yummy though for sure. Nice and spicey, and oh soo smooth. No expansion. I do think that they could be even better with a longer flush. I'm starting to think that the coir holds nutes more like soil VS hydroponic medium like RockWool or expanded clay pellets, etc.. They did have a 1week flush started off with a gallon of Florakleen mix per pot though, so I'm sure that helped a bit.

Oh, cool. I'll stop by and check them out. .....I have smoked papaya, but not recently. And not my own. I've finally put one into bloom last night, so we'll have 8-10 weeks to go. I'll definatly post progress, and whatnot.

SMALL UPDATE:
Well, as I feared the G13 x Purple Nepal seedling died off just below the leaves, so I pulled it, and started a Twilight seed in its place. I was looking forward to a G13 x PN, but I have a bunch more so i'll do another sometime in the near future. The missus likes the twilight (purple, and her favorite books lol) So i thought i'd do this strain now for her. I'll post a couple pics once it sprouts.

Thanx for stopping by my friend,, and thank you for the KIND words. for the most part everything is going well. Still have 20+ G13 x P. Nepal seeds, so it's all good. I'm not revegging the Cindy since I have a mother, and with such a small Veg area it's not worth the effort, but I can help out with some tips if your looking for info on reveg. Just let me know. I'll flood you with inf on it. Since she's original Brothers Grimm stock (before other breeders got ahold of her) I gave some cuttings to friends and help problem solve their grows incase of problems so that If I have a nuclear problem they wont be gone forever, plus I have one in the breeding chamber self pollinating for future seed. Feminized ofcourse, but I can always breed to it with a male to reverse the feminizing factors.

Hi Lavendar. I hope that your feeling better. Yea I was bummed about the G13 cross. I have a bunch more though, I thought it wise to sprout the seeds that I only have one of first while they're fresh. I'll save the G13 for after I get imbred feminized seed from the cindy. then it's ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!! Muahahahahaha..............(too bad they dont have an evil laugh smiley.)
If that G13 x Purple Nepal strain sounds nice to ya PM me, and I'll tell ya were to get em.
I'm also all about the Twilight, I figure if it's male I'm gonna breed it with cindy and call it Vampire Princess. Have you read the Twilight books? I may have read them. I know enough from what my wife tells me. she's read them twice. (FrEaK!!) I'm off to start dinner, but I'll stop by your place sometime soon....... Get well, I think Papa Greens remedy will help you girl.

yes, read them and loved them.....like the movies also, but edward doesnt look like he did in my mind....also love that goofy hbo series, true blood....i lmao watching it....esp. jason....the twilight seems to be a real healthy one so far....i got the fem seeds....soooo, email me some pollen if its male....lol...and i will pm you....later, lavendar.....still coughing, but much better, ohhhh, i took 20 clones off the blueberry, first rattle one dies, so looked today, and 3 had hugh roots, so i planted them right away....i figured, maybe 1 of 20 maybe.....

How do you like your twilight? I thought it'd be interesting. Have you bloomed yours yet? or are you on your first go around?
I can't believe that your having such bad luck with your cuttings. I wish I could be there to help you figure out whats going wrong. I dunno, I just dip into gel, and plant in coir moistened with pH'd water. Day 5 I water in 1/4 strength Nutes, and full strength calmag. Day 7-10 (depending on how much evaporated) i'll water in same strength grow mix as my other veg plants get. I am wondering if you might have a pathogen in your water supply, or that gets onto your cuttings somehow. How do they end up dying?

the twilight is still a seedling, finally topped her the first time, yours will probably be done by the time i get her in bud .. .lol.. i seem to keep mine longer than everyone else does....old habits die hard....also, it takes that long to get room for them in the bud room because of all the diff. maturing times ect....
the clones, we have well water, and get it tested on a reg. basis, the only thing it grows is algae if it sits too long, over a week or so, and if soggy ect..., never had a problem in the clone bin with algae using the root riot cubes, just the rockwool, which are known to retain moisture....i mist one or two times a day, gradually open the air vents, exchange the stale air daily with all the vents, altho i do have to open the doors to do a full exchange and i do.....with fans and all vents open ect....but the only knock wood bad area is where the clones are.....less fans going all the time...but right outside where they do run all the time....i have tried every fluid on the market, and finally went back to root tone....it keeps them from damping off above the soil, which if they go, is where it is.....i have changed cubes, style, air, water, gel, everything i can think of including lights....the only thing i havent tried is the building change, which i can and will if the prob. continues....i do get some clones, but not nearly what i should....so i am beginning to think it ccould be sick air quality, even tho alot of fresh air....too damp here....i even tried not misting, and cover on and off....thats all i can think of tho....later, lavendar

Huh, Yea, If they are damping off just above the soil it's a pathogen alright. Sounds like it might be airborn to me too. I had a few do the same thing with my first two papaya cuttings. If I see it again I'm going to be buying a product I used to use some years back called Physan20. That stuff will nuke any pathogen. I stopped using it because it's not a friendly chemical, and can kill plants if dosed wrong, and not good to get on you diluted or not, But at 3 drops per 1qt sprayer I would spray the tops of the cubes (Rockwool at the time) and the bases of the stems, and nothing would grow on or near the cubes but the clones. It was a final straw at the time, but if the problem persists, and your at that point it might be an option for you, but if you use it be VERY carefull with it, and Definatly test spray just one cutting/cube so you know if you got the mix right. Also, if you use that stuff you'd discontinue any beneficials until transplant. It'll kill em deader than dead, and you'd just be throwing away your money. I hope you get it figured out, I know how frusterating it is to have your entire garden held up by 'simple' cutting stage. Some of those fungus and bacterial pathogens can be VERY VERY persistant though, and can take a beating, and keep on eating......your clones that is.

many times when those items are nec. for any kind of success, alas tho, my lungs wont take anything that has that really chemical (does it)? odor to it....even no pest strips, im strictly a bleach,pinesol, simple green, soda, or vinegar type....and im careful with them....i even have trouble with the smell of the liquid light, and i love the stuff...but it will burn the skin on my hands if it gets on them....so wear gloves now alot...and i really dont like working with the powder root cloners, but for me they work much better....thats why i tried so many brands of gels in the past....
yeah, it has held me up at times, messes with "my" schedule....and then it will go crazy, the clones and mess me up the other way....then the give aways begin....kinda revamping plans on all three rooms...looking at room space and lights, ect ... nearly finished with the last of the wild ones hopefully, unless someone "goes rogue" on me....lol....lavendar

yea, Physan20 is probably 100x worse than liquid light. not recommended without a space suit. Thats why it's a last resort for me. I like the more organic approach myself too. I'm interested to see how you re'vamp' lol your rooms. they'll be sweet for sure. hell, they already are! I have a feeling that rogue your talking abouts name is 'Twilight', but we'll see soon enough.
