thanks for the reps in return, i find even a mature plant grown under 24-0 stretches more than a mature plant under 18-6, so you should get a good stretch before it goes into full flower.

how long did you let it grow upwards on its own before you flipped to 12-12, id like to take a note for when i give it a try, it will give me some idea of knowing if a longer veg is needed so it has a few weeks to grow upwards on its own before flipping 12-12,

my problem is ive got so much i want to do and try so ill be busy for a few years doing all the experiments and testing i want to do, i think the light schedule testing might pay off with some new growing methods or ways to increase yields but its going to take a few grows to know for sure and some side by side growing, hopefully ill get another light soon so i can run some side by side tests with clones under same lights,

my super male project is still going, ill be grafting soon and next ill be working with polyploids, i just wish these things grew quicker or i had more seperate rooms to grow more plants, maybe ill get the chance in the future but for now its not worth the risk,

She was let to go vertical for three and half weeks before flipping.
I get ya on the not enough time not enough space thing lol So much to try etc. Loving your work with timings and cant wait for polypoids would love a go with one of them to keep as a mom etc!

Hey LA since we're on the topic of stretch, is there a base guideline as to which plants tend to turn into trees and which ones stay as low shrubs?

I find sativa dominant strains stretch more than indicas so that's a good guide... Sativas- hazes etc will be more prown to becoming a tree lol
Also as already said above. If u veg til maturity is hit stretch will be less

Hey all many thanks Alex yep she is becoming a beast or 28 little girls Skybound yep you could do that in the beginning, up till the point I subvert the branches into the center.
OZ when I did gert I didnt get that much but that plant was over pushed etc. In this style you will be ok me thinks. As when you let them build vert they take off with growth!!!! Ill let mine go a while longer before stopping the stretch through defol. Looking forward to your pics buddy!

Hey oz...... I think the best gauge for your stretch is what ur looking at right there in the signiture of LA's tut. U shouldn't get the world of stretch as ur tuts will be mature. But u will get some mate
