how are you finding the new nutes, have you been using them yet, im pretty chuffed with the results myself and also bumped the dose up on the 2ltr dwc and a couple of the soil plants, 1 showed signs of to much N so just gave a plain water feed the next time i watered and its been ok since so i dont think we can push it to much, how ever the dwc seems to cope better with the higher dose unless its just the strain, the other soil plant on the higher dose is growing as normal and slightly quicker, but again its a different strain so not a fair test to be honest.

id side with bassman on the defol. i find some strains dont need it, if light penetration is not a problem then i find defol is not really needed but as the plant stretches up in flower you may need to remove some leaves to let more light in. ive used defol on most strains and some respond really well and it certainly increases yield. i wouldnt say it produces huge buds but overall dry weight is increased as the small popcorn buds end up turning into decent buds once you get the light on them, if my plants grow huge fan leaves that are blocking light to the rest of the plant then ill pull these big fan leaves off and within days the shaded growth is growing and the plant produces more usuable branches instead of branches with huge node spaces due to them trying to stretch for the light.

I could have it at 20 but I'm planning good vertical growth n I have little depth to my cupboard so I'm sticking at 12 :)
