Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

One way to stunt growth/minimize stretch is to pinch the topmost shoot, right?

I did that on two of my sour diesels that were, at the time, like 14 days after flip 'cause the "fake" lead stalk on both were just really, really getting outa control. One wouldn't bend over and the other went flat for the rest of that sessions lights on. When the lights came on again, that sucker was pointing straight up and flipping me the bird, lol. I'm now at 22 days since flip on those two and they've grown another 5-6 inches easy. Chopped my two Blue rhinos last night, prob 3 days to a week early, just to make room for them under the HPS so I can get on with my MH with some clones and a 8-ball seedling...and actually gonna try to reveg the blue rhinos as I effed up and didn't get clones like a dumby this last time. This is my third or 4th haul on the one Blue Rhino seed I got as a freebie and I really like this strain. Any hoots, my bet is if it actually stunts the stretch or not is probably dependent on the strain being grown and where along into the stretch one is...for me, it didn't do squat at the times for the strain I stated at least; and that's the only time I've ever even tried "super cropping" at any point in a grow. Hope that helps, if not, the good news is someone else will have input shortly I'm sure.

Hey mate I'm behind u on ur goal. And so what if u fail miserably and yield 1/2 of ur goal....... That's still a POM plant and a dam amazing yield off one plant. I don't think anyone will be laughing apart from u as u bathe in all ur buds!

Hey all good green day not much going on in the world of fluxing.

Hi mate. I had a thought ....rather than not use my round pots do you think it would be okay to make a bamboo trelis to sit on top of them and use it to flux train the girls with? :thumb:

Thats excellent news mate :) I have 3 large round pots that I'll use just as you're doing and build 7 x 18" square tellis's for the smaller 20ltr pots. It will look almost scrog like lol :)

Did the council make u return the 10 stolen rectangle boxes oz? Basteds lol
I read somewere before that square pots were not good but I can't remember were or for wat reason..... So I'm going with square ones anyway lol
Sure ur trellice will work great :) I don't want any tralace iv scrogged for the past 30 weeks I'm sick eh the sight of the stuff.

The girl looking great LA how long before you allow her a bit vertical growth? I wonder how many nodes uv removed. You removed every other off ur main stems but of course iv stripped nodes off every side branch.
Ur not shy of talking about yields :) if u were to flip your fluxed girl today what sort of return would u be expeting?

Lol......the thought of scrubbing and sterilising 10 boxes didn't appeal mate :) The reason round is better is because the roots can get bound up easier in square ones once they hit the sides. :) I think a simple trellis system will work ok and give a bit of flexability too :)

Yea ozz I no wat u mean mate..... I'd of just give em a blast with the jet wash .
I'm not sure what pot il be using anymore. Just seen down the gardens my uncle has some 35litre round tubs
There about 1ft across and 2ft tall look very good

Probably a bit tall and too narrow mate. I'm going to use those 2 big round ones from the "green" supermarket and another big round one my son inherited :) My other round ones are about 1" tall and the same round lol. Hence the trellis on top :)

Lol. No mate, I think depth is MORE important too. :thumb: But 12" is very narrow for this type of technique I think :) I reckon 18" x 18" would be perfect :)
