Light Addict Tries To Get Grafting - Target Of One Mom With 15 Strains!

Hey CannaM :) yeah,I'm just plodding along in here even if its dead as a dodo! Strange one as I honestly thought with so many folks in the US under number constrictions, that grafting on a multi mom might be a more popular idea ?!?

Well, now that my job has changed drastically, I'm going to have a lot more time to get going on a multiple graft project. Love what you're doing here, and I really love that you aren't hesitant to try new things. Full speed ahead whether it works or sort of works, or doesn't work. LOL
I was really sorry to read what happened when you had a bit much of the stumble juice. oops.....

I'm sort of caught up, have a video to watch and I'll be on top of it.

Thanks for all you do.

Lots o loves

:circle-of-love:

...and Yep, I knew your post was to CannaM..Not CannaF. LOL

Hey Canna my darlin! :)

I'm definitely going to be doing way more grafting. I'm quite sure I can get this all dialled in nowadays and think it's possible to have from seed to 10-15 strains on one small flux in around 3 months total. Also as I've said previously, getting all donor plants grown in one available wave will make life way simpler. The fact a flux suits this so much is just the icing on the cake :)

I have plans I tells ya, important plans, for this idea! :)

OK so were still grafting along and am only a few more successes away from hitting 15 strains on one girl :)

My tried strain girl for a bud sculpture plant is potted up and strapped down ready for her proper training to begin! :) Everything else is donor stock for grafts :) (well apart from the massive double graft girl and my wee flux :)

Well I'm getting bored with my grafting girl. I'm itching to get her going into flower!
I went for another 3 attempts last night but its getting harder now, as the limbs are now with stepped nodes and this creates issues with matching tissue levels up! If you had all donor plants ready in one wave you could do what's taken me a cpl of months in a day!
So I'll see how these look in a few days and if taken, great! If not then I might scrap this one off at 10-11 grafts or whatever she has. Then I'll go again but with everything ready in one wave! That time I'll go for 30 strains minimum :)

OK so I've come home tonight and my most recent grafts are now 24hrs old. I'm happy as non have wilted, intact there's the bonus of being 4 I did last night not 3 lol.
So I've got 5 donor plants left and I'll wait a few more days then go again for my final wave of attempts! I reckon I may hit my target of 15 :)

One thing I can say is I think I've got this method down now! I've learned a good few lessons and will put them all into action for my next multi mom! With everything I've learned it won't be a long journey on that plant. From seed to 10+ strains is possible within 2 months I'd say so with maybe another month on top for the extra limbs, I'd say seed to 30 strains in 3 months!
Heck if you had everything ready I could knock these out on perpetual lo! ;)

So just a few pics showing my mommy and the bagged latest graft attempts, all green and not wilting yet, so I reckon they may all take! This leaves just a cpl of others to bang on in a few days then we switch the lighting up from 24/0 to my norm veg of 18/6 then we should see some growth and also any issues arising from the different levels of nutrient uptake!
So yeah should get fun in here soon! :)
