Light Addict Tries To Get Grafting - Target Of One Mom With 15 Strains!

Oh I remember the days of shift work, time it right and book a couple of days that turns into a week. The GP will be a blast, I have a jar of AK47 reserved for the trip. :lot-o-toke: We will be in the club Silverstone grandstand at becketts for the race and I'll be in the main grandstand on Thursday in my 420 mag shirt while the do a live show on sky F1.

With my wife's new job I don't think I'm gonna be making any events anytime soon but more funds for us :high-five:

Maybe expo grow but not 100% sure
 
OK peoples, first rule of graft club is we don't graft after a few drinks!!!! I had a stupid moment last night and basically killed off a perfect 3 strain girl. Somehow I forgot what I was doing and picked up the wrong lass and started lopping off bits only to realize to late I'd just mullered my future sculpture plant, Damn my stupid self lol.
Then I tried banging another 5 on my main girl and seems I did a crap job on all :)

So I'll give em a day to pick up or die and then go again! :) I've dropped more strains and have more to drop again and its daft having so many little ones going at once just for this project, but if I pull it off it should be worth it :)

Drunk me knows to stay away from plants since I dropped a Strike Auto (queen seeds) when there was 2 weeks left :rofl:
 
*whistles admiringly* Now thats what I call a selection! Holy chit-stains Bat-man! I wish that I had half as many atrains as that to play with and they would probably keep me busy for quite some time after a few runs of clones, (off of my favorite pheno's of course) and trying out different training methods.....per each plant.......*sighs* Yup! that would be a beautiful problem to have! Good stuff L.A. as usual. Im out!

In other grafting news I tried my hand at the V cut and think it a crappy way to graft! Its fiddly grafting as is, yet trying to match tissue levels up with a V cut is way harder than a simple / slanting cut. So we scrap that method :)

Good to know. We plan on trying grafting with our afghani reg, if it proves to be female. Looks like fun to me!

Rascio, thanks and welcome, grafting itself isn't that hard, yet getting a multi momma whilst still keeping this plant small seems to be the key to making it all worth while. Luckily aflux seems to be ideal :)

So were doing OK again me thinks with 7 strains successfully grafted so far and many more to go on yet! Here's my experimentation spot and every single plant is for grafting and my momma is hiding under all the humidity bags :)

Looking good here LA! Glad you have 7 successful grafts so far. I think I was supposed to remind you to stop by my journal. Please feel free to share any wisdom you'd like to, I'm about 1/2 way through my 1st grow with 3 plants ready to flip, 3 clones I took for sex and decided to flower, 3 new clones that I will veg and 3 seedlings....

Many thanks for the kind words folks! For any with a keen eye, I've changed the title somewhat, basically let's go for a decent number and I've already broken the last number so we plough onwards! :)
This run has been stop and start with waves of girls and lots still to grow from seed to graft yet so I'm not happy! So I'm going to flux a few more plants and pick one for 30+ strains that will all be grown out at the same time! So I should then in theory, be able to get the result way quicker! ;)
Seriously folks take the fluxed mom out of the equation by doing one in a cupboard under 1 x cfl , then when time comes within 3 weeks you could have them all grafted! ;)
