Lexort's Kaneh Bosm CFL Garden

As always, lexort, your photos are gorgeous. Love the ones with the lights circling the grow box -- it's like a delicious spacecraft has landed on earth full of cannabis :) WE COME IN PEACE, BRINGING WEED!

That's a awesome way to look at it GG i like it lol im pretty medicated on some qwiso i made from some old trimmings lol i got quite the kick out of the visuals in my head lol

UPDATE
So i been actually having a hard time getting the temps up around here its just been that cold but anyways the veg girls are doing the best they can at the moment however i did take some clones and im attmpting to root them in perlite so that's something new to me

FLOWERING DAY 36
These girls are hanging in there i actually have turned their fan off in hopes the led panel will warm it up enough and so far so good. Anyways so i wanna know from anyone with led experience what is their take on these girls, they are day 36 as stated already and this strain runs about 8-9 weeks in my experience, do they seem fluffy? I grew this strain out before under cfls so i don't know what to think under this led lol. Anyways here's the pictures

I've done lots of perlite clones. You're actually doing much more formally than I often do it. Sometimes I just start a plant in it's final growing container. I use a little opaque solo cup for a humidity dome and spray the medium frequently to keep the area around the base of the clone moist.
Geez... I'm seriously lazy.

Hahaha ive seen you do that! kinda where I got the idea i just don't have room to start them in there final pot. Any tips on how to tell when they have rooted this way? When i cloned using peat pellets i just waited for the roots to pop out and show themselves.

I guess at it by observing the top. Obviously new growth is one sign. I guess you might be able to gently poke around in the perl, but trying to spot white root nubs in a sea of white perl might be an issue. Another way I tell is by uncovering for a couple of hours. If the plant stays up and good, I keep the top off and call it done.
I usually give them about 2 weeks before I start testing by removing the dome.
How's your heat in the clone chamber? I usually run 70-80.

Hey lex quick question. Im sure you have covered this, but instead of thumbing through 53 pages lol..(Im lazy). Im curious about your LED rope lights. I keep seeing them on amazon, and just curious which ones you have and was they worth it?

Looking good Lex. The buds should chunk up the last two or three weeks. I been using an oil heater to keep my room around 70F at night and its working great. I had to put a piece of tape over the power light but thats about it. good luck with the clones man.

Nah, the Yukon isn't cold in summer. BC's pretty big, and a lot of it (where all the people live) isn't even very cold in winter. You're more likely to catch a chill in eastern Canada, or wherever you are now, apparently, lol.

Come on over my way boys, we ll hide in a cloud of warm smoke in ye o ll work shop from the -34c / -43c with the wind chill!:party::party::high-five::passitleft:

Thanks for the Luv!
Sometimes lazy is just lazy. One must pick and choose the opportunities.
Don't skimp on an issue that needs to be done properly.

Just a disclaimer.... being lazy has drawbacks on occasion and one must learn from those occasions. Never be lazy about learning.

Well im not absolutely sure what my temps are i would guess between 60F-75F give or take. Did some readjusting to bring the heat up and its working nicely so far.

Looks good in here lex, I think your flowering girls are packing on the weight! Hope the temps warm up for you! Good idea with the fan! Keen as to see how the perlite clones go.. ive been thinking about that for a while now!
Good vibes brother!!

Thanks wrecked i just been fretting because of the phosphorus deficiency (i have never had a phosphorus deficiency before so it's new and nerve racking for me) and the top inch or so of the bud seems really thin. I think i have the temps under control (i hope atleast). I am curious about cloning in perlite as well lol ive seen tead do it but this is my first time trying it myself. If i am successful at cloning in perlite im sure you can too then cause I just kinda wing it lol. We both have come a long way since we met on here lol

My opinion on them is that they are fine for supplemental lighting in flowering could be just me but my buds closest to the leds seemed fuller and more frosty then the ones not close to the lights. I do think if they were rigged to some sort of board so they are close together instead of circling the box they may prove more effective but thats just a theory. I've seen people take similar lights and line those reflector dish things i use for my cfls and that doesn't seem like a bad idea. But ya if you get them don't expect alot especially if you have a bigger grow area then me. I suppose you could always buy a few of these kits if you want but i don't think they would be worth a shit for primary lighting. Hope that answers your questions :tokin:

Ya know I keep trying to tell myself that they will chunk up the last two weeks but i just keep second guessing it due to the new light, phosphorus deficiency, and low temps, all my reading says those last two can reduce yield so ya. Plus haven't grown SOG style before exactly lol. Im just worry wort and i over think stuff sometimes lol. Glad you got your temps up and ya smart thinking taping the light. Thanks for the good luck on the clones i might need it lol.
