I think the issue with the power supplies stems from LED's basic nature. They consume varying power depending on their temp. If you swap out the power supply with others, you may run into problems.
I always speak up when I see any possibilities of any real danger. Don't want you burstin into flames after all. Sorry to beleaguer the subject.

O no problem tead im gonna test the lights before putting them in the flowering box make sure they dont get hot or throw sparks lol im all about safety lol. I just did some lst right before the pictures so they haven't readjusted themselves upwards yet lol.

I always want to play with various plant training techniques. I did it once in a huge outdoor plant. Mostly I just don't have the space for too much experimentation... tho I got the OsmoPots going.

See hypothetically speaking i think those led strips will be ok i have one similar to it in my living room except it is all kinds of colors anyways the strip of leds aren't hot at all and the power supply is slightly warm but not uncomfortably so,that's after running it 24/7. So since they are basically the same thing it would stand to reason that it would be the same for these ones i have coming. But in the end everything always gets tested before it gets used lol

Im starting to think either the name of my journal is making people not want to stop by and say hi or maybe the cfls or maybe it's because it's kinda boring for most people when it comes to vegging lol either way I will continue to journal after all it's more for my sake lol. I suppose the title is a bit misleading after all two plants hardly constitutes as a garden lol. Well I figure I am going to germinate a seed. It's a bagseed strain i grew last grow it was definitely indica dominant. It was pretty good smoke and it was a pretty layed back plant too very tolerant.

I d love to hang with ya and soak up some of your learninz I m just getting into cloneing so this all is super interesting too me! Keep up the good work mate!

So i guess I want to take this time to say to you all that i am sorry for my journal being somewhat dull i don't have super great skills at being social. See i have Aspergers syndrome and i have a hard time being social i spend most my time in my mind and for me socializing can be a bit awkward for me. So if at times i dont make alot of sense im most likely having a hard time coming up with the right words. I just wanted to explain why it's kinda dull on my end. I enjoy all of your company and im grateful that you are along for the journey.

Hey buddy, not wanting to be a negative nelly or a downer but but it looks like your plants are struggling a bit.... And believe me, I know this can lead to very bad things, esp in mid flower. Too me they look a little over watered or something, I could totally be wrong and hope I am! I ve just been having some real bad luck these days in my garden and would hate to see you or anyone suffer a "loss". And maybe a little undersized on the containers..... You should really blacken those bottles too if your gonna run them, roots don't like light at all! I hope I m not over stepping here man, I just wanna see you have the best success possible.

Well i appreciate your input bearded budz i must say you arent the first to say overwatered ask weaselcracker lol anyways i know its not overwatering and i know the containers are fine not my first go round with 2-liters i duct taped the clear parts honestly only cause everyone brought it up even though ive had no problems with that. I intentionally keep the pot space small yes it means i water more often than I would with bigger containers but its the price i pay for keeping my plants small. I really do appreciate you trying to help i just also know the strain thats flowering right now is super touchy and for some reason come flowering it will defoliate itself probably due to it being bag seed. smoke is so good though that i put up with its quirks.

I'm happy to be along for the ride Lexort. Actually the most interesting part of journals, for me, is trying to help out with issues that come up. I really hope you don't take that as criticism because it just isn't. If you could see some of the plants I grew over the last ten years you'd be laughing your ass off. I'm still just learning and have absolutely not one shred of ego attached to growing them. It's nice getting a few compliments now and then, but often I am thinking- 'ok thanks but now let's talk about the issues and problems please'. That's what I'm really interested in. It's just a quest to grow better and better, and I would love it if people came to my journal and tried to point things out. In your case I believe, like BB, that there is something going on with your plants and they should be looking more perky, whatever strain they are. I hope they produce very well for you. Safe to assume that they will produce even better in future.
I don't know what the issues are but probably with some switching of growing techniques here and there, some comparison grows with different mediums, containers, or nute schedules, you'd see some interesting changes going on.

Re the social stuff. I just like writing, but in real life am one of the least sociable people you'll meet. Ha ha. I'm happy with my own company and like just wandering around, in my own head thinking and thinking. No need to feel extra social for my sake, Lol!

Haha ya mello its real good smoke. Nah weasel we are cool constructive criticism is welcome ya im not really social in real life im a hermit lol i get where you and BB Get the overwatering thing if these were anyone else's plants i would say the same as well. If you guys want to help me with a problem maybe you guys can help me understand whats happening with my ph. Ok so every time i water with nutes my ph is usually 6.2 or 6.3 and then runoff will be anywhere from 5.8-6.4 but here's where I suspect the problem is ok so when i water with straight water which is distilled water it reads 7.0 for ph and 0ppms and runoff will be 6.8ph with ppms being in the 200's typically. Now oldmeduser told me i didnt need to ph plain distilled water because it doesnt technically have a "real" ph since its void of minerals now that is where i got confused because it goes against every fiber of my being to not ph everything lol but i trust oldmeduser and although i may not have understood his reasoning i got the basic message that i shouldn't ph the plain distilled water. Now i know he also said that distilled water is great for flushing since it has no minerals of its own so its only gonna take the nutes from the soil and flush them out. So essentially every time I give plain water im flushing so maybe that's why my plants look like crap. I just am confused as to why when i water with plain distilled water my runoff ph is high. Ugh thats currently my only problem

I am using a jiffy soil less seedling starter mix that i have added a generous amount of perlite to...

Yup still growing in that now see i know peat moss is acidic and after awhile the dolomite lime would have been washed out and that should mean my ph should be dropping not going towards neutral. Anyways ya im still growing in the jiffy soil less mix
