I'm pulling up as well. Enjoyed several pages of your work. You said you have 8 cfl's in your flower box? For how many plants? I ask because I'm doing a cfl grow and was wondering if I was going to need more lights?

Well i grow kinda micro as im sure you can tell but to answer your question ive grown three in that flowering box on my prior grow but because it is such a small space and i have it lined with emergency blankets it is really concentrated in there for light. I plan on tossing 3 more little plants in there so that would be 5 plants total. Ive seen one plant grown in practical the same setup and it was a beast of a plant but i like to grow little plants so thats what i do. If you want a good read/tutorial google "cannabis rubbermaid grow box" i think the site is cannabisboards or something like that. Btw thanks for coming by pull up a chair and get comfy.

I see, and roughly what yield do you get on average? I've been googling a lot lately lol I've come across a few of those Rubbermaid grow boxes but mostly for hydro.

Well i dont know the exact weight from My last harvest but by my math its was 2-2.5 oz total of 3 plants. My math went as followed, i go through a eighth in 3-4 days and my total harvest let me smoke everyday all day for two months straight after adding it all up im left with a estimate of 2oz minimum 2.5oz maximum. I grew those plants with miracle grow liquid ferts and i was impressed to say the least. Ya i get ya on the googling and only coming up with hydroponic results cause that's what alot of ppl use for a reservoir the key to finding what i based my design off of is making sure you type on google "Rubbermaid grow box" otherwise you will just find hydro stuff lol

Thanks wrecked i threw two clones into the flowering box right now so more bud gonna be coming lol

Hell yeah, less is never more, bud wise..., having no bud at all, thats when i aint funny no more...,

:Namaste:

Except when you are having your stuff ripped apart being searched by cops, then less is more, and none is best and having any bud at all is when it ain't funny no more.

This what I'll be like when the coppers come get me. Deranged with poor social skills, more stoned than David and Goliath, and clinging on to a bag of FFOF soil. They'll headline it as: Pot Farmer Apprehended After Assaulting Officers with Cannabis Plant.

YO lex!!

what's your current overall wattage in your garden?

are you currently using a white or warm spectrum lamp for flowering?

dude i would totally get those flowering plants in some 2700k lighting.. increases bloom-age ;)

In veg box i have 214w 2700k in the flower box its 208w 2700k. I use the 2700k cause I never saw any difference when i ran 6500k in veg. I don't think it matters when it comes to cfls thats my opinion though its also easier for some reason to get the 2700k stores around me never have the 6500k in the wattage i want. And just to clarify warm white is 2700k and cool white is 6500k. I've actually been contemplating getting some UV-B lights (aka reptile basking lamps) to try and boost resin production but im not entirely sure I can fit anymore light into my box plus your not supposed to run those lights for that long only like a hour per day or something like that. im still in the research phase ive read alot on it so far but im still wanting to absorb more information on this topic.

Awhile back i remember someone else vegging under 2700 cfls..... A claim was made about it producing more roots, less leaves.... Then come transplant into big pot.... Lots of roots to get a good start.... Not certain on results of this, but they can grow under 2700k.... A standard HPS runs at about 2100k.... They veg under those too.... bit more stretch apparently, but still work...

Best thing with cfls is keep em close, as power/lumens drop rapidly at distance....

Once im in posession of led, my 200w dual cfl will become my veg light

:Namaste:

Hahaha nice one budworshipper lol. Ya i get plenty of roots but i get a good amount of leaves though so notentirely sure i agree with the second part lol. Way i figure it is people veg under hps just fine so i figure its fine i veg with that spectrum as well lol
