LED Trinity Grow - Round 1

Hi everyone. :ciao:

Today is a great day!! I think (I hope) I paid for meds for the last time today.:cheertwo::yahoo::cheertwo:
To mark the occasion I though I would post a pic of the Buds I've been smoking for over a year now, Its supposedly Chocolate Chunk or a Chunk variety. Whatever strain it is, I love it, Very nice head high, with low couch lock, and a clean comedown. No headache or drowsiness when you smoke a lot of it, which I do.:)

Over the past year of smoking this strain I have managed to find 5 seeds in all the zips I've gone through. Someday soon I'm gonna try to grow them out, but for now on to bigger and better, and homegrown buds. The best kind. :)

Thanks for the kind words canna.
I remember saying that exact thing to another grower when I was just starting my girls. My babies are growing up. :)
I'm sure your cannababies will turn out fine, good start on your LST by the way. If you run into any speed bumps along the way there's always tons of help available, and you got a lot of quality growers following your thread. :goodluck:

Hi Rain, I hadn't thought of making any submission honestly, but now that you mention it. lol that prize package is amazing.
Maybe I'll have a look through my stash and see If I can find a really nice nug. The pic I took yesterday was pretty much the 1st nug I picked up outta the jar.
I find I do have a tolerance to this strain now but she still does the trick nicely and tastes great also. It's funny, when I share with someone who smokes crappy stuff or doesn't smoke often, I always tell them to take it slow. More than once I've picked up a friend off the bathroom floor cause they have a couple of beers (I don't drink at all) and then want a hit or two off the joint I'm smokin. I warn them but....lol
The tolerance to this strain and the ability of trying new strains whenever I want, were part of the reasons I started growing for sure.

I got a little laugh from that statement. I don't really smoke much. So when I test me home grown it always knocks me down :). But I always wonder how good my weed really is to others. My wife took some over to her sisters and a couple of her sister friends smoked my home grown Snow White. She reported back that they said... "Damn this has high THC!" "Is this stuff laced with something?" "Man I got a body high!" "Where did you get this stuff?" "I am so high, I have to go home."

Then a couple months later back at her sisters she actually had one person turn it down saying "I don't want to get that stoned."

Today's update as promised, Day 19 of flower, tonight was a pretty big night for the ladies. They are still stretching but they are almost done now I think.
I changed the reservoir water and added new nutrients, and It was my last chance to clean up under the canopy. After tonight's work, I'm just letting the girls grow for broke.;)

Today's stats
Day 19 of flower
PPM=790
PH=5.8
Air Temp=72.5F
Water Temp=63.4F
RH=58%

The girls are looking very good, the Kush is totally outgrowing the White Widow, its taking up 2/3's of the screen and at this point I'm going to let it. I have no doubts at all that I could have filled the screen with just 1 plant.

After I changed the reservoir, I completely trimmed up the girls below the canopy (lollipopped). I took out any and all leaves and branches that couldn't be pulled above the canopy netting.

To answer your question, there is a pump inside the reservoir that feeds the top feed lines and attached to that there is a hose that you can turn on and off with a switch to drain the reservoir. I keep it sticking out of one of the holes in the top of res for easy access. You can see the line in the second last pic in front of the fan. ;)

I'm going today to check up on the ladies and PH water etc...new update and pics later this afternoon.

I missed your update on the 5th! Plants look amazing. Excellent job lollipopping them correctly.

Master kush has skunk in it which grows crazy like. Hindu kush is also a vigorous strain, but skunk grows like crazy.
 
Hi everyone;)
Time for Day 22 of flower update, The plants are doing very well, PH is very steady, only going up 0.1 in 3 days. I'm amazed at how much they have stretched. I thought that at the last update they were pretty much done with stretch, but they put up a few more inches over the past 3 days for sure.

I topped up the water lvl's today and PH'd the water and started a new bottle of CO2 and that's pretty much it. Not much work at this point except watch them grow. Its a little better than watching paint dry but not much, I took lots of pics though.:)
Most of the work was done on my other grow today. Changed reservoir etc...

Today's Stats
Day 22 since switched to 12/12
PPM=840
PH=5.8
Air temp=73F
Water temp=67F
RH=42% (I got the humidity under control)

Is it me or do the buds seem to glow in the LED's light. There must be some black light frequency to make the buds and and spots that are frosty glow. So cool. :)

The Clones.
I gave the clone that I'm holding up in this picture to a friend, I don't need it and was really just making clones to try it out. I still have 2 more WW and 1 MK clones that are showing nice roots to play with.

The closets are running very smoothly now, I've got all the kinks worked out and nutes dialed in I think. There is no nute burn at all on the ladies and they are starting to put out the beginnings of colas. Only about 5 more weeks to Harvest. Patients........

Like the set up was thinking of adding a LED into the mix and yours just look sexy. Do u have problems with your veg tent floor with the weight of the water in res.

Plants look great. Looks like you are maxing out your grow space :)
