I was worried a little about the water weight at the beginning also, but the closets are built to last. ;)

I might have made that reply about the draining tube on the reservoir sound complicated, but its not at all. I just put the tube in an empty 5 gal. bucket and hit the switch. The reservoir drains in about 5 mins. Finito.

No worries at all, thanks for doing it, but it didn't make a difference anyway. lol
I just didn't want anyone to miss my new update at the end of the last page.
There is no link to a grow of your own in your signature, do you have a grow going I can check out?
 
Unfortunately not currently as I'm in between a few things right now. When I resume I will post a journal looking for opinions and sharing what I've learned .

I'm assuming and only assuming that you're unable to completely cleanse your rez during nute changes? Or in your set up it's not needed?

Hi again Wacky, no when I drain the reservoir there is about 1/2 inch of water still in the bottom off the res, not bad from 15 gal. It hasn't been a problem so far, not clearing out the res completely, Its so diluted after I refill the reservoir that it doesn't really matter.
I use the PPM's to gauge nutrient amounts more than the instructions from the bottle. I'm currently using about 3/4 strength nutes in bloom phase. Just like any other product, the nutrient manufacturers want you to use up their stuff ASAP so you go out and buy more.
At this point in the grow I'm trying to keep my PPM between 800-900, next week will go up to 900-1100 PPM, If I put everything in that the nutrient recipe that came with the closets called for, my PPM would be around 1500 right now.
 
Good deal, I couldn't see how you could of did a complete dismantle. But then again didn't think you had any issues by they way they look.

:)Thanks WildRosebud, the clones turned out really well, they were taken 3 weeks ago. With the remaining clones I think I'm just gonna veg them and train them for low profile under the T5's in that little cloning section of the closet. As soon as one closet opens up I can transplant 1 or 2 into it and start flower right away.
 
Hi everyone;)
Something came up tomorrow night so I had to do my reservoir change a day early. That means right now is update and pics time!!! Today is day 24 of flower and the girls are doing great, PH still totally stable and buds are forming. I changed the reservoir water and added 3/4 strength nutrient,. I got the PPM's right where I wanted them, 1010 PPM (I was aiming between 1000 to 1100ish).
Humidity was starting to climb again, it was at 71% when I opened the closet doors but I ran the dehumidifier the whole time i was working on the girls and got it down to 59%. I left It running for another hour on a timer after I left and that should bring it down below 50% again. I'm definitely keeping my eye on it.
Two more of the Master Kush clones and 1 Blue Mystic clone I took are showing roots through the rockwool cube, that makes 3 viable Master Kush, 2 remaining White widow and 1 Blue Mystic clones. I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do with them, I was looking forward to trying my Auto AK seeds next round but it seems like such a shame to waste perfectly good clones. I am really liking the way the Master Kush is growing, Its a very strong strain, so If I do decide to do another round with the clones, I'm gonna use the Kush. I don't want to mix strains in closets next round either, 1 closet, 1 strain. Anyway....

Day 24 of flower (since flipped to 12/12)
PPM=1010
PH=5.8
Air temp=78F
Water temp=68F
RH=59% and dropping as I'm running dehumidifier.

That about wraps this update up. Not tons o stuff happening right now, the stretch is done now I think, the growth has slowed over the past couple of days and buds are forming for sure but its gonna take time. Gotta be patient. ;)

Last little thing was a question for anybody who might know. I was wondering about my PH being so stable (not that i'm complaining, just curious) The PH is only going up .1 or less in three days, the PPM's are going up by about 200-300 so I know the plant is taking up nutrients just not sure why the PH is so steady. I thought as nutrients are taken in by the plant, the PH would go up accordingly.
 
Why do the ppms and ph go up because of the plants uptake? Shouldnt the ppms go down?
 
In would think that the fact your PH is so stable it sign everything is working like it should. I could see the PPM moving up and down but the PH is just the balance of the water and in the end if the plants are happy it should not change much. This is just opinion and is nothing to back it up but is how I would see it and think it should be

I think and this is just in my head no facts but sounds right but like us they take stuff in and let it out which would effect the PPM. I think the PH staying stable shows everything is stable IMO

I am curious to see what Wacky has going on. I read his Blog and he definitely has got some interesting info in there.
