I have been following most of the led grows around hoping a manufacturer had finally developed one that lived up to their claims. But still haven't found one ,I would like to thank you guys who spent the money, tested and reported the results. I am going to buy a 600 w hid any suggestions I am completley new to the indoor grow scene. There are a lot of choices and I thought I would ask first thanks again

Well said guys, I am glad there is information arising, or becoming obvious I suppose. More obvious.

It will be huge huh botanist? 600W panel? Things a monster!!! That's what I am talkin about though! Personally, i think 3 smaller panels, with same wattage per foot would be more ideal, to be able to raise lower, etc But that much power coming from one board, will be almost as sweet as budporn! haha

I don't post journals yet, but as Irish knows, I am deep i this LED game as well. I have three different company's units, and a total of 5 units.

This is all good stuff. Keep it up guys. Also, can't wait for the 600W thread irish!!! Hope you had a good weekend bro!

600w LED and 600w HPS light will produce the same amount of heat. The only difference will be right at the bulb. Because the HPS wattage is all in one big bulb it will be hot where as the LEDs are split into many smaller lights so it will only feel warm. The ambient temps in the area will be about the same.

Forget to ask, I came across somewhere Irish where you were asking about Snow Storm Ultra. I picked some up last night for pretty cheap from my store and applied it when I got home. Ill let know now if it is worth a damn, that is, if you don't have it already. Peace.

i am going three big ass plant in 10gal pots all LST. i am getting the Hindu skunk agian since its a beast. and some XJ-13= jack here x G13.

i have been using that snow storm ultra for this grow. it works great.. what can i say the next day it snowed in my room..lol. i dose work great for the price.. i have some other stuff that works better called bud blaster it mad from supernatural. next time i am going to use both one week one and the next week the other. but ya i9 am planing on doing 3 big monsters and trying to beat the total yield i can get with 6 avarge plants.

Your right but it looks really suspicious when you read this post of his from way back posted here

Where he says 1/2 pound every 2 months, yet he only yielded 3 1/2 oz (roughly). His expectations were halved yet he's still happy. Suspicious.

ok guys i just spent the last 4 hours trimming the girls. over all the BD on the 180w side are chunky fat buds. the Bd on the 126w side are trash excpet for the tops those are the only solid buds, every thing mid way to down low are small little popcorn buds all over i will just trash both of these plants and make has out of them too small of buds to smoke. now the hidu skunk on the 126w side is some of the best bud i have ever grown, never seen such resin on my plants before the smell is out of this world, and she has some good weight to her very nice hard buds defiantly the best plant i have. i don't know what happen to the BD on her side? the PS BD look real nice and hard and fat buds all the way down. now the 180w hindu skunk? well its just a runt. what can i say? i wish it grow up like its sister because that strain is some fire for sure.

here are some pics of what i mean on the 126w BD buds being small buds. this pic is a branch not even half way down the plant i made sure to get the top cola in the background to prove this. all the mid-lower branches are this size, must i remind you that these arnt dried buds. their is also a pics of the 180w lower branch to show the differences.
cant blame the grower on this one because the 180w would be the same way if it was me.. i am very pissed off after all that time and for that. their not even dried.

damn man... looks like that led girls light wasn't all that she said it was... the buds don't lie.. i hope you got that light for free man... i'm stoked to have finally seen the results.. cant wait to see the final weight.
can you post some pictures of that pen next to the tops of the ones on the 180 side?

oh yeah.. it looks like a monster compared to the 126 side.. tight score with those lights though.. are you going to continue to use the 126 after the test?

nope the 126w will be token out of the room i don't understand how the Hindu did so good on her side and the BD did shitty? makes me wonder what the Hindu on the 180w side would have turned out like if it wasn't a runt? ill have the 600w grow to do after i harvest so wont be using either light in my grow room. cant wait to see how much yield her hindu dose and the blue dreams on the pro source side dose?
