In the Walmart craft section they have colored pipe cleaners. I like using red so I can easily see them inside my plants.

They are like 2$ on ebay or amazon and come in packs of 100 and different collours . I think I am going to use both ties and the SCROG I have won t bend to much under the screen but will use it at a perpetual source of tieing points 3/4 of my photos are females one has not shown sex yet but pretty sure its also a girl so that s a nice surprise

I placed the SCROG net , bend some tops , will let the settle in for a day or 2 , find their way around the net and then I am going to tie them down using pipe cleaners and the net . It will be a much better system them just to tie them to the pots as I can change position really easy and have lots of points to tie now . hope this will prove to be a good idea .

yeh that will work well. You see how much they filled out, bet you pleased you flipped and didnt keep vegging another week or more. I still think you will suffer number hit on the autos though. But its irrelevant really, the plants are growing well.

yea , it would have been a real nightmare , I kinda unhappy about the fact that i didn t position the pots a little further from eachother , I had the space . would have needed a lightmover but still . anyway, stuff for my next grow . Im looking forward to seeing this one complete

Just checked my termo/humidity meter and humidity is at 95% . damn . bought there , will be here tomrrow , very cheap , bought a few sets to have around . hope they will do the job . One problem is that I don t have much of an intake, just evac , temps are ok tho , and i open the tent to let fresh air in daily .

Good call will do u proud mate.stick with 2 at a time in ur tent.u dont wna absorb all moisture available as ur plants will want plenty aswell best of luck

that was my next question , how many at once at this stage . from what i understand in the last 2 weeks I should try and keep humidity as low as possible to get that frost .
I am aiming for 50-60% durring the day in the next week or 2 then 40% for a week or so and then 30% for the remaining of their life . sounds good ?

30% is too low. try finish between 40-50%. cooler temps will make the plants more sticky, so will uv light.

i don t have lower temps unfortunatley , that s why I got the CO2 bag . they don t seem to mind the temperature . so where should I keep it these last few weeks ? ranges ? also can you give me the link to your feeding schedulle , can t remember if you flushed at the end or whatever . need to read up a little on that

Always flush at the end of a grow. not only will it clean the bud it will increase yield and quality. it forces the plants to use up stored nutrients and push out weight and ripen.

This schedule is just a guide. I dont actually follow exactly week by week but this schedule works 100% in coco.

i am guessing I am going to have to remove the autos from the system at the end and hand feed them . the scrog doesn t seem such a good ideea now . should I take it off or just water by hand and when they finish just chop them off ?
@beast and @culti - any ideea how long from this stage on by the looks of things for the autos I mean , the photperiods are just just begining to flower .

Yea its just the beginning .id say 4 to 5 weeks will be ready to begin flush.and if u need to hand feed mate.just try to match there usual food pattern. And plenty of water inbetween feeds theyl do just fine.beautiful garden mate gone exactly to plan for u.good work

water between feeds mate? The medium is coco right? Coco is hydroponic and should be fed nutes everyday and only water at the final flushing of plants. Its not necessary to water in coco unless you have a big nute overdose. even then id use 1/4 strength nutes. If it were soil then you would water between feeds but not in coco.

I first started to grow in coco .put coco in my pots and hand fed always water inbetween.so fed as i do in soil with killer results.each to there own.just speaking from own findings.coco does not need to rammed with feed constant to grow a beautiful cannabis plant! Happy growing

straight coco is hydroponic. too get the best results you need to give nutes every day, trust me. Ive grown thousands and thousands of plants in coco mate and tried a hundred different ways. Im not saying giving water will damage them but coco is not soil, the nutes are delivered different to the plants than they are in soil. To get consistent quality plants every single time its the best way. It keeps the coco in optimum condition for the plants and its not up and down.

Try it mate. If you dont see bigger heads save your nutes and alternate feed water, but i guarantee you will.

well, I won t be able to water untill 50% runoff as they will be under the net , should I just take the feeding line out of the aqua valve , and water untill I get some runoff , but that will go straight back into the plant won t it ? less quantity of nutes with every watering I am imagining , until it s just PHed water . I also have a Flushing liquid bottle of some sorts , will check out what it is tomorrow and let you know . I see you don t use anything @Culti, just water ?
