PHd water yesterday being the first feed after my over watering drama the previous Friday.

All went well. Half the amount of water I normally use. Going to double the amount of days between what I used to do. Think next feed will be 4-5 days.

At the mo the Dos si Dos are loving the light. And the Mazar, just not as developed as the others

Have a few light brown spots on a couple of leaves. Think it’s a cal mag issue so just ordered some.

Never used it before, is it ok to go in with other feeds?

Yes
One thing about it is the nitrogen. Different brands have a huge range of nitrogen so beware not to get the 8-0-0 one unless you need it.

So cal mag arrived today. Really hoping that’s the issue and not drainage problem at the roots. All pots are getting run off in my albeit slightly weird plastic bag water catchers. Bottom of the pots don’t smell eggy or rotten.

Been 4 days between watering at half amount. Feel really dry a good hands depth down.

Feed today was a mix of the seaweed extract bloom (35ml), molasses at half dose (half teaspoon), cal mag at 10ml and the tiniest splash of tomato food (2.5ml). All in a 20 litre bucket (just over 5 gallons)

Only used half the bucket. Just in case

No time for pics, was a quick feed and off to work. Will update in the morning with some good news

My cal Mag product is called BAM Buds A Million. I just follow the directions on the bottle… then realise I’ve added too much coz I haven’t followed the directions at all so I gotta tip half out then add more water to get the ratio right.

Dos si Dos week 5.5

After overwatering issues cal mag feed

So after opening up today after yesterdays cal mag feed was nicely surprised, no further damage. Top left plant definitely overwatered but knew that was coming, flushed it last week just before @Bill284 advised me I was watering too much.

She’s not a looker but will get to the end hopefully.

Mazar has stretched but wasn’t expecting anything less. Still keeping an eye on him (Freudian slip ) in case she/he/they turn

4 days wasn’t enough for the drying out think 5 will be perfect so will be watching and waiting to see how that goes.

I know what I’m going to do next time round to stop all this. Namely overwatering and a better medium to grow in.

This was a shoestring grow which I should hopefully do well out of. Money saved on bud can be reinvested into the next garden and then we’ll really be rocking and rolling.

Definitely seeing the financial effects of the extra electricity. Starting to think a generator and 50 hamsters on wheels might be a good investment

Hope we are all well, I’ve changed my settings so not as many alerts coming up. Will change back, I’ve missed 2-3 days of some of your journals

Thank you Tra, I will mañana, I done a quick phone light check before lights on, all looking green(ish) the HPS lighting is a terrible filter for plants desert yellow I like to call it

Can see the effects of the overwatering on the top left plant, one beneath it is slightly better but glad I stopped when I did.

Middle row on the right also suffered a bit. Slightly overwatered and hoping the rest is a cal mag issue. Next few days will be able to see benefits of solution
