Sorry been busy folks. Firstly yep you can do all budsites that are the upper most point of that colas site. You could do it in light or dark period, that's up to you! :)
 
The actual snippet is so small it doesn't stall or effect you plant in any negative manner. So no there ain't any worry of H :)

I tested it on one of my plants, and ZERO balls growing. Just flowering like normal so far, and very close to harvesting now. So far I like the technique, and I'd easily do it again in the future with no worries of a hermy, And once dry, I'll have a weight comparison to share of a cut bud and uncut bud.
 
I'm at day 35, single plant with just some cfls and a 4' fixture. She is about 30" at her highest point, is it late enough to snip her?
Also, should I only do this with the 2 colas or all of the top buds?

Btw, not sure if she is indica or sativa dominant. She is a bag seed from some pretty ass kicking mids, and I can already tell she gonna be awesome. :D Started out with 4, 2 males, and the other fell down and broke the main stem before I could determine sex =(((
 
Your around the right time point to do this on your girl :) I just tend to hit the bigger buds when I do this technique but it works wherever :)

I definitely will try this out. This is my first grow in a long time, 14 years or so. But this one
is definitely bigger/better than the plant i had back then. Probably a good thing I only ended up
with one female, as she got pretty big and I barely have enough light to sustain her lol

My stuff got passed onto me buy a guy who grew commercial for 20 years. With around 20-30 factory sites all over UK! I dont read books on this subject, I read 420 only, I soaked my friends info up, then developed via trial and error.
Nothing I do on 420 is anything other than me trying to share my knowledge and success! If this ever upsets anyone then simply kiss my huge nugg jar collection! :) :)

A lot of my techniques seem way out there and yep they are! I dont sit going I wonder?? I actually try it out and find through my own results and experience.
Take my light schedule for peak flower. 21.36hrs lights on, 12 off and repeat. This is just during peak budding!
Now some people think Im mad for doing this timeframe change!
Yet I read it here on 420 in the How to section. So gave it a whirl and it worked. I was only growing one girl at a time so it was risky! !!! Yet Id rather carry on pushing boundaries than sitting still wondering! :)

Hey LA...good stuff!...just about half way thru this thread...have only seen bout' 99% positive feedback on this method, thus far...Good on Ya!...got bout dozen plants goin'...10 of which are further ahead than 2 unknown clones which were a gift from a bud(lol)...although healthy and fruitful...buds/colas are noticeably slighter than my own chunks and bombs...seems a no brainer to give this a whirl on those 2 girlz...figger I can get 3 or 4 weeks more on those two...GRACIAS!

What caught my eye tho' was your light schedule comment!...was that after running them 12/12?...what do you consider "prime" budding time?...if Ya have a thread goin' on it...shoot me a link...

I had performed this to top 20 colas and 3 weeks away from harvest. Mine was done at week 3.5 If there was a hermie it would of shown now. I have 2 mothers and 4x clones rooting. Will do the exact same training again around 4 weeks into flowering. Will let you know in future
