Lady G - Seedsman Sponsored Grow - Sweet Coffee Ryder

I grew up in the country and I'm there again. More work but more therapeutic with plenty of aches and pains.
Damn your work test ...

Studio time will let you work at your own pace, and if you have to take a rest day or week, there is no pressure to be there for the students. I think it’s a wise choice. A difficult choice to be sure, because teaching is so incredibly rewarding in and of itself. *hugs*

It’s been two years since I’ve been able to work in my pottery studio due to pain. I’m hoping to get back to it this year. I’m processing some found clay right now, so that’s exciting. I think one of my compromises will be to work in miniature for a while, since I just can’t lift or manipulate a large amount of clay. But I can center a pound or two and then use that to throw tons of small pieces. At least that’s the plan.
I am suddenly struck by the realization that so many of us with a creative arts background here are afflicted with a disease that is in reality a doorstop to that creative flow...yet we strive to create pathways around that to keep us where we know we need to be! It reminds me of our bodies capability of creating new pathways to compensate for functions lost! Wow! And I have had no cannabis tonight....I need to rectify that immediately! :passitleft:

I’ll toke to that...

:passitleft: @Amy Gardner - Just reading the HIGHlarious convo's happening here. You guys are so funny, I'm totally laughing right now. Trying to reply to everyone but it's impossible because of the shhhmokies. :ganjamon:

@LadyGaea - you are my hero! and the wind beneath my buuuuds. hahaha

Stop it .. your scaring me lol
FYI...you are as young as you want to be here! I'm like 28 still mind wise...but my body?...not so much! :rofl:

@Kingjoe83 @Derbybud @Pennywise - You guys had me laughin'. So funny. I love you guys. Thanks for the great read.

@BigBearNTexas - You nailed it, you couldn't be more accurate. Thank you. Time to take it at my own pace. Plus we're busy growin' here now. That is an art in itself. If I could combine the two, that would be something. ;)

@TheMadDabber @Derbybud @Kingjoe83 @Grandpa Tokin & anyone else interested in video - if it's a small group I may be able to swing it. But if there is standing room only, I won't have the space to get in front of class, with laptop, with projector, with speakers pointed to create a sweet spot for the students. They should have a PA I can patch into, but I'm not bringing my mixer this time so that might be hard. Plus I need permission from the college mostly. Let's wait and see. The unknown begins...hopefully I'll have pictures for memories, crosses fingers.

@LadyGaea - You're very astute, I salute you mlady.

@Amy Gardner - Feels good to take a break, even though I'm working in the background, it's technically a break for growers.
