Lady G - Seedsman Sponsored Grow - Sweet Coffee Ryder

This Week Goals -

So there is a college I used to do workshops at and they booked me for this week. I told them it's going to be my last one. They asked why. I told them I will reveal why during the workshop with students I've known for 3 years. It's going to be tough, but it's been long enough and I'm convinced it's time to move on from my teaching career for audio arts. One of many careers associated with my arts career.

Maybe I'll speak on a panel next year, it's only about 15 minutes. But workshops are physically taxing for 1 hour of straight talking (which is my biggest fear right now) and embarrassing to stutter in front of people. What is a relief is the honesty I will be speaking from the heart so they'll know why I have delayed them for so long. Now I can honour my friendships with the truth as to why they haven't heard from me for over a year. No more hiding.

Time to start letting the outside world know about my story in time for legalization. There is no turning back now.
One step at a time, One brain cell at a time.

Thanks for sharing your lives with me, I return the favour with flying colours.

Hey just wanted to say hi and hope your having a terrific day . Big hugs your way . . Let’s grow some good medicine. :green_heart::Namaste::green_heart::Namaste::green_heart::Namaste::green_heart::Namaste:

You’ll be surprised how understanding most people really are.

*I'm hoping that is the case. I'm going to be giving some of my presentation away to key students who stayed connected with me throughout the 3 years, they wouldn't let go. The respect they give to me is tear jerking but I think people need to be rewarded for their loyalty. It's the only way we can overcome as a community. I love doing random acts of kindness. I do one every day.

This will be a big day for me, but it has to happen. It's like a rite of passage when you have a broken brain. There is a time I just have to accept that I've changed, so my goals have to change. I accept that, but I want to do that in the best way possible.

To impact those students and friends who have come out to hear my workshop, their lives will be changed for the better. They will never forget the audio story I'm presenting as my last piece for them. It's going to challenge their views of sound and how to create soundscapes that tell the story for you. Which is the world I prefer to live in.

I'm gonna turn it up loud...go out with a BANG! Literally...hahahaha Pushing the sound barrier. So much fun.

I wish I could sit in on one of your workshops G...although, kinda feel like I already have with the plethora of valuable information you’ve provided here at 420. You’re awesome G!

*Awwwww shucks, we do have lots of fun, audio is addicting, I could talk about my audio work forever. But now it's time to focus fulltime on my health. That was really sweet GrandpaT, thanks for caring. ABC = Always Be Cool. You're a great student BTW. :hugs::cool:

Yes indeed GT

You are going to do awesome! You have a rare gift and special ability to inspire and energize all around you. You bring out the best in people. You will light the ember in these students that will be carried and passed on for generations to come! Your life experience, the good and the bad, shaped who you are. I believe we all have a purpose, and everything happens for a reason. The truly lucky ones have more than one purpose! Pssst...That's you! You are going to knock it outta the park !...stuttering or no stuttering! ;) :green_heart:

Itd be neat to see. If you get a video let me know. I'd love to see it. Love those flower pics too. I've noticed the more I look for good pictures the more I slow down to appreciate natures beauty. Have a great day G2h

Studio time will let you work at your own pace, and if you have to take a rest day or week, there is no pressure to be there for the students. I think it’s a wise choice. A difficult choice to be sure, because teaching is so incredibly rewarding in and of itself. *hugs*

It’s been two years since I’ve been able to work in my pottery studio due to pain. I’m hoping to get back to it this year. I’m processing some found clay right now, so that’s exciting. I think one of my compromises will be to work in miniature for a while, since I just can’t lift or manipulate a large amount of clay. But I can center a pound or two and then use that to throw tons of small pieces. At least that’s the plan.
