Hi everyone! I'm a long time reader of this forum, but this is my first post ever.
I'm a beginner (currently in my second indoor grow) and I recently ordered some Candida CD-1 seeds, so I decided to read this whole journal. It was a very interesting read and I'm very curious to see how it turns out in the end.

PS: English isn't my first language, so if there's something I write that you don't understand, don't hesitate to ask me what I meant. :)

Don't let that worry you - people here are all here for the same reasons which creates a quality community. I'd encourage you to start a journal when the time comes. I'm likely to grow Candida in a grow very soon myself - so if you start a journal I will happily subscribe.

LA, have you considered a dehumidifier? My tent stays similarly humid to yours, I guess because the coco is always kept watered. I'm thinking of putting a small dehumidifier in the tent for flower, just don't know where I'd put it in my snug little tent!

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, I think I have one for the chopping block. And I'm surprised that it is Northern Lights #1 - the shorter of the two NL.

I might hold off a bit on chopping "him" up. Give it a bit more time and look at other nodes to see what they are telling you. But it certainly looks a bit suspicious to me!

:welcome: I'm excited to see how the Candida turns out as well. Please stick around and feel free to ask questions! This is a wonderful group of people on 420, and we are all here to learn from one another.

It crossed my mind, but like you, I have no idea where I would squeeze it in. :laughtwo: It also doesn't help that my tent is in a very humid basement. Actually, I think the environment contributed to the bug problem. The basement is very old, leaky, and cracks everywhere for bugs to get it. We're moving soon, and I hope the new place will have a better environment.

Northern Lights #1 sex confirmed: male

All is not lost, since I know I have uses for male plants. Juicing and tea are easy choices. What other options work for an immature plant?

Great job L.A.! I've just catch up with all your new posts and see a lot has been going on.
I have also a 60% humidity and my plants are getting bushier so I'm really considering doing some serious pruning.

Have you done it already? when are you planning on doing it?

Anybody here have a nice tutorial that they recommend (I know there is a lot on the net, just looking for a few favourites).

Some of my plants had huge leaves that were shading bud sites. I chose to clip a few of those but stopped at a full defoliation of the whole plant.

Ones that were as big as this were shading everything below.

Almost certain that NL #2 is also male. 0 for 2...bummer

Just popped two new seeds into water to soak for another chance at NL, and I also decided to start Cinderella 99 while I was at it. Let's see if we get girls this time!

Thanks. At least I know my Candida is a girl and doing well. Still waiting to confirm Blue Dream CBD, but all signs look good for a girl.

My Candida is going bonkers..wish I could switch her but no room
Had to tie her down a lot yesterday
