Not exactly, actually I believe the ratios of thc to cbd change, and then the thc will begin to degrade. From what I understand the case to be, when you see the first amber trichs, thc is at its peak, after that, it slowly begins to degrade and cbd levels increase. This makes sense as to the effects of products taken at different points of maturity. I have taken them at the first sign of amber, I have taken em with 10% amber, and I've taken em according to the pistil condition and color. I will say this, it all was very potent, I have learned to stay away from the sativas, I don't like to be that high, and just one rip gets me there. I am sure someone can give a better explanation than me.
 
THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) gets a user high, a larger THC content will produce a stronger high. Without THC you don't get high.
CBD (Cannabidiol) increases some of the effects of THC and decreases other effects of THC. High levels of THC and low levels of CBD contribute to a strong, clear headed, more energetic high.
Cannabis that has a high level of both THC and CBD will produce a strong head-stone that feels almost dreamlike. Cannabis that has low levels of THC and high levels of CBD produces more of a stoned feeling. The mind feels dull and the body feels tired.

Thanks! It looks like it'll turn out to be a great grow! Good luck with yours. I just noticed the krystals about a week ago and they are really coming in on several of the plants.

That is the only way to tell what Karl likes, and I assure you what karl likes, everyone karl shares with will like too! Energy is a trippy thing, It all comes from the sun, it dosen't go away....it gets transferred somehow.....to whatever you affect in your life. I don't understand it, but it's very obvious that theres more goin on than the mechanical aspects of this dimension.
 
hey man I harvested some of mine a few days ago and were pretty close to the same age on our ladies.

the high was a nice clean high, it was pretty much perfect for my daytime meds so I harvested the main cola and all but 3-4 tops. I wanted these tops to go 50% amber so I can get the feel for it better. I know youve been using hps alot sooner then I got mine so your lower sites may be alot further then mine, but I left mine on and snipped just above the last popcorn bud site. Im hoiping I can get her to just flower again using all the lower sites.

I had no paranoid feelings at all, my only thoughts were "Damn this is so good shit" lol

Ok, so paranoid is more strain and person specific. You could have a 'late' harvest have just the same level of paranoid as an early harvest?

One of the things I don't like is paranoid. You might say "I'm paranoid of getting paranoid" :D

I don't think anyone would see paranoid as a good thing, but my guess was that a clear/cloudy harvest would be less, just because I've heard the late amber is more of a 'couch high' and I'm not sure I'd prefer a couch high over an active high.

But, on the other hand, I REALLY NEED a sleep aid. So how can I get this to be a sleep aid. The couch high seems like it'd be more along the lines if a sleep aid. Truth be told, the sleep aid is probably the most important thing for me.
 
Maybe tRy a half and half harvest, Im going for mostly experience on this grow, so Ive been sampling my plant along the way so i can see the transformation myself.. Thats been a great help to understanding the changes. I harvested 2-3 grams when i first saw amber and I really liked so about 5 days after first Harvest i harvested the majority of what was left leaving the under branchs so they can turn 50% amber. Then ill harvest it and compare to the first and second .

Hope This helps im very very baked And not sure this made sense lol these homegrown buds blow my freakinn mind!
 
It'll get much better later when I get a continous harvest going. Right now, there is probably 2 months between harvesting. When the 2nd grow is large enough, I'll be able to clone enough that I should be able to get the timing down. I'll clone twice off the 2nd grow, and they'll be probably 1 month apart.

After a few runs, I should have a good flow going. At that point I'll be able to harvest when I want and will have more insight to what I like.

The super strong sativas give me the paranoid factor, I consiencely dismiss it...but it's there. I would give one bit of advice about these microcrops, which is how I see em, like micro brews.............NOT FOR BEGINNERS! This quality of meds is way too strong for rookies.
 
guys I'm so excited about my grow after reading this! I havent got my microscope yet so i can't really tell if i am even close - but i feel like i am within about 1-2 weeks before i harvest. I am going to stop nutes now and just clean water flush each time i water for about the next week to 2 and see where i am at. jewelers loop is in the mail.

I'm honestly new to weed - and late in life - but i liked it so much i decided that i would love to give this a try. I have never had anything but decent stuff from local 'weed guys'. How much more am i going to like the lemon skunk I've grown myself? - i havent sampled it yet really - tried to speed dry one little tiny bud for fun, and it was good and delicious...

is the attention ive given my own plants really going to deliver that much more of a great high?

I vote for 10-4 or yes. In my opinion it works!!
 
One thing you have when you do this is control. I think of it like making your own dinner. If you got into cooking, you could make an amazing dinner for yourself. You wouldn't have to worry about the quality of the food or the care in prep, that would be under your control. You could get a $8 steak and make a great dinner out of it just the way you like... and save money.

Growing is the same thing. If you want a 'top shelf' product, you can have it. If you want clear/cloudy/amber/etc... you can have it.

If you want to test flavors, strains, you can.

I wouldn't jump in and burn a halfie right off the bat, I take measured doses to determine quality. I can take two hits and tell you pretty darn close what the thc content is.....lotsa practice with commercial crops that have been tested.
