Epsom Salts are Magnesium Sulfate and a source of magnesium and sulfates. Epsom Salts can be used at 1-2 teaspoons per gallon as a magnesium and sulfate supplement.

In my veggie gardening I have read that it builds sugars and carbs to attract pollinators. Makes flowers smell and be sweet. I always feed with epsom salts with my hydro veggie garden. I used it in the three weeks prior to this week of flushing. I have never grown Fast and Vast before, so I won't know if they are sweeter, I do know they smell now. I can't wait to smell in two weeks after curing. I'll let you know.

Yes one of the things that I have noticed quite soon was the rich green color that all the plants developed under the the Twilight Groups LED 432 watt Spider COB LED grow light.

Morning King ... Got a question for ya.. When you say you see rich green color is that under all LED's you have tested or more so with these in particular..... As you know I have only grown under LED's but am noticing this round that the leaves actually feel like velvet. Especially the girls in the closet under the 5w' s and they have all been lushly green but I haven't ever noticed them feeling like velvet before. They everyone look extremely healthy this round but was just curious about your statement and if you had any ideas on the velvet leaves... As always things in your garden looks amazing....

My comment about the lush green color that the 3x Hindu Kush #3's and the former AK47x Alaskan Thunder in the Seed Cabinet is in comparison to standard lighting of either Florescent lights or Metal Halide light and how quickly under the Twilight Groups LED 432 watt Spider COB LED grow light the 4x plants quickly developed rich green leaves.

King,

I have a question regarding "Snow Storm".

I'm in my second week of 12/12. Pistols showed up last week. This will be the first week of using the "Snow Storm".

Do you pre mix your solution and if so how long do you keep each batch?

At 1.25ml per quart I have no problem throwing it out after each spraying just wanted your input on the matter.

I mix up 1 quart or liter of Snow Storm Ultra at 1.25 milliliters per quart or liter at a time in a pump up spray bottle before use and keep the mixture in a dark place between uses so that light does not degrade the mixture. I have found that the Snow Storm Ultra mixture will keep well for 10 days when stored in a dark cool place, be sure to check the Snow Storm Ultra mixture before use and discard if any discoloration or change.

The plants are still in the vegetative stage. Tonight I shall begin to spray Hindu Kush #3 clone #2 with Silver Thiosulfate and begin the process of creating Feminized pollen to create Feminized seeds. Hindu Kush #3 clone#2 will be isolated in a separate cabinet where it shall receive 12/12 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness and begin flowering.

Awesome. I've been waiting for this. I'm sure we'll all be going down this road sooner or later. I'm there now. I've pollinated a few times, but it was way before you could order feminized seeds. So, I'm very interested to see how to do this correctly.

Will you isolate some branches or spray entire plant? And...do you plan to pollinate the same plant if you're not spraying entire plant?
I had planned on spraying a few selected, isolated (covered w/ poly) branches, collecting the pollen, & pollenating the same female plant. Cheers/jeers?

I plan to spray the entire Hindu Kush #3 clone #2 with a Silver Thiosulfate solution for 10 days then switch my Seed Cabinet to 12/12 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness for flower. It is also possible to spray only a portion of a plant with a Silver Thiosulfate solution and pollinate the same plant with its own Feminized pollen and create Feminized seeds on the same plant. With the amount of Feminized pollen that will be created to pollinate the remaining AK47x Alaskan Thunder and 2x Hindu Kush #3's the Hindu Kush #3 clone #2 will not be needed after several days of pollination and disposed of. I will dispose of the Hindu Kush #3 clone #2 after several days of pollination to minimize the possibility of cross contaminating other plants in flower in other grow rooms that I do not wish to be pollinated. The Feminized pollen can also be collected for future use.

Hopefully the Hindu Kush #3 clone #2 will begin to produce female pollen sacks in 28 days of flower after being sprayed with the Silver Thiosulfate solution and in another 10-14 days the pollen sacks will begin to open. I did have some timing issues with the LA Confidential #2 that was grown previously of when the pollen sacks opened to allow pollination and the time that the pistils on the LA Confidential #1 began to wither and pollination was not possible on the LA Confidential #1.
